I can answer your question Adam. The reason why you cannot tip credit card in the parks Starbucks is because those are run by Disney and those are Disney Cast Members. The ones in the Springs are corporate owned. In fact, my daughter works at the Disney Springs ones.

You should go to a running store that analyzes your walk! Then they can recommend the right shoe for you! Shoes only last 300-500 miles ! If you walk or run a lot you need to replace them so you are supported! Great video!

Just figured I would answer the question about Starbucks. For Starbucks at Springs, the baristas are employed directly by Starbucks and are considered "operating participants." In the parks, all the Starbucks locations are run by Disney themselves, so everybody working there is a cast member. CMs cannot receive tips unless they are specifically working in a tipped alcohol or serving role. Joffrey's will be 3rd party no matter where you go on property.

That's commitment to get a popcorn bucket in all that rain. But $160 for shoes that lasted 3 months, sounds like they aren't made to last and are cheap to make.

The whole time you were pulling in the parking lot trying to see if the haunted mansion was getting struck by lightning, I was thinking to myself why are you walking in there. You got that tomorrow lol but I get it. I’m like that too once I need something in my life, it’s on until the mission is accomplished. But that was entertaining to watch. Thank you. 😂

No joke, I never wear the same pair of shoes/sneakers every day! I have about 7 to 10 pairs that are my dailies and they are all comfy. Some are newer, but some are almost 10 years old and they have lasted because I won’t wear them daily. All different brands, Nike, Adidas, Puma Etc etc! All different styles like running style shoes to Nike dunks to casual sneakers that looks good with khakis or jeans or cargo style shorts or basketball shorts!

I have been to Disney World two times. Both in August as that was the only time available for a family vacation. Both times (different years). Heat Wave Hot and rain with lightning exactly like you just had Adam! Don't know if I will EVER go there again. OG Anaheim Disneyland will never be outdone!❤

My house got struck by lightning and it didn't send us back in time and my son was standing right next to the outlet where it came out of thank God it didn't get him. Here is some very good advice don't take a shower in a lightning storm and stay away from outlets.

It is a cool popcorn bucket,I think it was worth battling the rain for it. I miss Sid's selling the autographs. My first time to MGM was back in 98 and I loved that shop. I still have a Flight of the Navigator poster and I got my now wife a signed Linda Blair picture from her in the Exorcist that said "Sweet Dreams." It still makes me laugh thinking we own Exorcist merch from Disney.

I was on team Crocodile Mile for Slip N Slides. One of the first Slip N Slides I ever had that had a tiny pool at the end and an arch to go under before you hit the pool. Classic.

I got caught in a rainstorm like that in key west one year, I’ll never forget it. The rain never ended. Most of the stores and bars were flooding and I was soaked ! 😬☔️☔️☔️

I spent the day in EPCOT when it was raining like that. I used to be a mail carrier so had plenty of experience like that. Not one dog attack on any rainy days, once had 18 dogs try to get me on a single day. I had the dog route in the office. I have a ton of stories about it. I am very picky about the popcorn buckets I get. My favorite is Elliot the Dragon from Disneyland a few years ago then my second is Toothless from How to Train your Dragon Universal Hollywood. This brought back memories, really enjoyed this vlog.

My parents used to work at WDW for 15 years… they told me people would get struck by lightning and die in the parking lot every summer… be careful in those lots!

I don't mess around with lightning. Stationed up in fort Walton Beach at Hurlburt Field AFB and mid 90's we had a thunderstorm and at that time the personal on the flightline did not clear. Well this thunderstorm struck the tail of one of our c130 and there was 4 or 5 mechanics changing a tire. Long story short, 3 of them died from the strike. So I don't mess around with lightning anymore. Not worth it. Florida is also the #1 lightning strike capital in the world also for striking humans. I did like your "if you get struck by lightning in Disney, would you get a lightning lane"? Comment. Even though the thought is horrible it did make me chuckle. My next pair of shoes will be OC, hopefully they will last longer than those did. Surprised they didn't have any kind of warranty and defectmanship cause it didn't look like normal wear and tear. Keep up the awesome vlogs Adam, but stay away from lightning!

That was a hell of a storm yesterday. I live over in Claremont and our house was rocking pretty good!

I worked at Disneyland back in 1985 and rainy days were the best. Crowds were so much lighter back then anyway, but when the rain started, the crowds cleared out and you got the chance to ER. I still love a rainy day.

Would be cool if they had little covered trams that ran the streets of each park in the storms, so they could move people safely to and from a shelter area. You could even theme them for each park and season, make them electric or hybrid and you've got a green, clean people mover. PS that popcorn bucket was cute, and the trees and buildings are more likely to get hit than the bins but you never know dude. When Thunder roars..... Hope you got dry and warm quickly when you got home!

It is recommended to alternate your shoes so they last longer. Try a shoe store that watches you walk and will give you some ideas. Have you ever tried the waterproof Vessi runners?(Great for "monsoon"days.!

Adam, just for the record I would have done the same thing for that bucket!! I found Mr. Toads Wild Ride bucket in February at a Goodwill store in Florida. My hope is to find that bucket the same way when I come back.

We must have been there around the same time. Wait times were down in HS no doubt because of the storm and Tiana's opening. Got to ride Rise, Mickey's Runaway and Tower of Terror. We waited it out in Starbucks. They were doing trivia and giving out baked goods as prizes. I'd never seen that before. My wife won a smoked gouda and bacon biscuit thing. The torrential weather that day reminds me I’ve always wondered about Disney’s decision to build in Florida…I’m surprised not to see lots of umbrellas. I think I see more umbrellas in Phoenix on the rare rainy day!

When I go to the parks, I have certain clothing I always wear. I also carry a special quick dry/wicking towel and a fanny pack with a plastic bag for car fob, phone, and wallet. That way when the rain pours I get to do a Gene Kelly like singing in the rain because the water won't bother me anyways.

Ah, Orlando summers at 4pm. The memories of living there!

This is a great video for first-time visitors to Disney world. Now they know what to pack. I love that rain and lightning. unfortunately, when there is lightning you have to be indoors.

We were at Hollywood Studios yesterday too Adam! Torrential! And the shows for Indie were cancelled because the trap doors were flooded from the storm the night before. That’s what the cast member told us! And we were soaked to the bone! No joke! Thanks for your videos! Safe travels!
