If it's any help there are some versions of Sonic that have a mowhawk (sonic satam, Sonic underground and adventures of sonic etc.) It's a good frame of reference to maybe just start with a mowhawk sort of...style? And go from there? I'm spitting ideas here definitely subbed to see how this goes. You can do this!

Use on the right track with that hair dryer puller tool u was using. Just gotta add Jamaican lime twist firm wax. Sonics hair is like wicks/(fat dreadlocks). U just part it how u was, use wax for hold n leave it alone.

One thing about a lot of kids, they seem to not care if it doesn't look like what they wanted. If you tell them you'll do your best & that it may not turn out like they want, they're just happy you tried. I tried to do a tiger face on my little brother. I thought it looked absolutely horrible. It didn't look anything like the picture. He absolutely LOVED it, though.

I'm so jealous and happy this child has a parent that cares enough to teach her son about haircare. Both of my parents and all my sister's have pin straight, super fine, thin hair. No one ever taught me what I was supposed to do with my thick wavy/curly hair. So I just slicked the front part back with a hair band and called it good. My mom used to make me brush my hair three times a day and would get upset I didn't want to brush it while it was wet. My dad told me I looked like "the red-headed stepchild"(which is wrong on so many levels), but I literally didn't know what I was doing wrong. I'm so glad I had access to the internet.

Maybe you could try to make his hair look like Sonic's hairstyle? That sounds a lot easier! Not that it'll be simple, but I bet you could do a good job.

Everytime in his head he probably be like "mommy know these ain't no sonic braids" 🤣🤣🥰 but kids are appreciative they'll take what they can HE IS SOOO ADORABLE ‼️

Practice makes perfect...you need to get a mannequin head...with hair...or a styrofoam head and get a wig with kinky hair on it. Because you KNOW how to braid...you just have to work on your parting...and work on the neatness of your technique. But you did ok, those of us that braid , understand that you're learning.🤗

Yes!!..Great job...like stated earlier work on the neatness of your technique..with the parts.. were you trying to achieve zig zag and not straight?

@@royalpriesthood100 lol yes I was trying to zigzag the braid as well! I’ve done it with smaller braids but not this big.
