Joe and Ming are souls together beyond space and time. We are talking about a second chance given by Destiny to Joe and Ming, to make things in the right way for finally being together. What we dont understand, Destiny understands, having its own higher ways for all of us. Many hurried to call Joe colour blind, forgetting this main message- there is a "third person" in the story background- DESTINY! The one who's keeping Ming- Joe in extreme contexts just for what is happening now- they start to understand everything what "covered" their hearts and souls in previous life. Love is Love - most powerful feeling ever- able to rise people hearts beyond the sky or sunk them in the darkest deepth of life; able to make weak every person at least once in life, but also able to cure a heart lost in misery. Destiny's ways are impredictible and anyone can be a "Joe" in a day or a "Ming" in another. This series is not about just Love- but is full of lessons about Chance, Forgiveness, Honesty and Seeing more than surfaces.

Mings father is bad- a torturer and extremly conservative in novel. Hope we will see how Ming grow up in such family- having preferences for men was not just a challenge, but a forced resignation to what he felt during years. With an abusive father, it was quite understandable Ming would end up having violently manifested trauma. Dont know how much from Mings story will be shown in series as in novel- but he was forced to give up the way he was- forbiding to love men, beaten for this reason. And Tongs manipulative presence in Mings life since age of 16 is the 2nd impact on his personality. These are some big reasons for Joe starting to defend and stand up for Ming. In ep 11 Ming will fight for Joe litteraly agaisnt everyone, cause his biggest trauma is not to loose Joe again.

Yes I wish people could have read the novel because it goes in to more depth of why Ming is how he is I can’t wait to see how much they show of Ming’s upbringing but there is only 2 episodes left next episode Joe starts to fight for Ming I can’t wait to see show it and they finally show Ming’s brother I wonder are they going to should the grandfather to

@@lovetonegirl How old Ming is in the show? Has it ever been clear? Because a lot think he is now 26. Regardless a lot of people don't take in consideration how young Ming must have been when he had met Tong. If Ming was a woman I think more viewers would have a felt sympathetic. Because Tong and Ming relationship really makes me uncomfortable.

@@veraanastasiaramirezrozas1633 Tong only married Ming’s sister for Money and the family background he could easily manipulated Ming into doing what he wanted him to do but after Joe went missing he started seeing Tongs true colors and that why he started treated Tong the way he has also Ming’s childhood was filled with an abusive father what he put Ming through Omg Omg I wanted Jump into the Novel

Ming Now 24. Joe 10 years older. Met at 20 and Joe 30. The author of this novel likes to put young alpha males with older guys of 10 or 11 years. The same and beloved enemy

he's pretty good at cooking in the novel. for example, the big river shrimp in ep3 was actually grilled by Ming, but in the novel, Wut sent hairy crabs.I like this episode, everyone's acting is spot on, no one appears where he shouldn't be and ruins the whole plot.😊😊

Honestly from the bottom of my💗heart💚, I don’t know how to feel about Ming and Joe anymore, I know I SHOULD ship them but I DON’T WANT TO! That’s 2 different things! Such a conflicted emotion tbf; to tell the truth, I feel so numb, tired and exhausted towards Ming and Joe’s relationship after everything that happened; despite that clearly this ep the writers are trying so hard to redeem Ming, however, I just can’t ship them anymore; if I’m Joe, I could forgive Ming and move on but I won’t ever get back with him, then again I’m not Joe, nobody has the right to make decisions for him nor tell him how and what to feel! It’s his life, his feelings, so it’s totally up to him!🍀🌷

One thing about this show it keeps you on your damn toes and Tong did you really think Ming is in his I love Tong era nope, he see through all your BS now. I know people are saying Ming did Joe wrong (that's true) and they shouldn't be together but he is trying and for Joe that is something he values showing that you actually care. Not sure how he will react whenever Sol is around but maybe they can work through that also cause Joe does bring out a side of Ming that probably is his base personality before he got caught up with his love for Tong's aka Joe's back.

Guys I got a question? for everyone . Here is the question? With the way things are going between joe and Ming, will they be able to end up together? Because I don’t understand what is happening. I really don’t 😢 but there’s one thing that I am sure of is that those two will definitely end up together because I mean they are met to be happy 😃

This ep reaction came out so fast and without the exhaustion of attempts😭🥹so happy for you Nolan!!🥳 Btw, I found out that Joe’s original Chinese name in the novel is the same last name as mine!😅😆😭😭(I get it now why they named him Joe in the series cause it’s similar in sounding and it matches the original Chinese last name in pronunciation--Joe vs Zhou) But here’s the thing, after knowing this, I feel even weirder now when I look at Joe😂🫣🙈and that’s making me want Joe to stay far away from Ming’s toxicity even more!🫨😬🫢(the question is after this ep, is Ming TRULY redeemed from our point of view? What do you guys think?🤔)

@@FolaKhalil50 The writers gonna be like we are gonna keep on trying to redeem him😈😸whether it works or not, well, that’s out of our hands!🤣From Joe as a character, he might/most likely will get back together with Ming, but irl it will never work; there could be exceptions but that would require an extreme amount of effort and total change of a person from top to bottom which is often/usually not achievable, not really realistic tbh; but here it’s just a fictional show for entertainment, so let’s just go with the flow I guess………….👀😮‍💨😷🥺

@@FolaKhalil50 Me too!😭this is one of the few series that I REALLY don’t want a happy ending; instead, I want more like a realistic ending, not necessarily a sad one, but at least a logical one that makes most sense closer to real life🤔😇

Episode 11 you get to see what ming has had to deal with his whole life his family is beyond toxic and then you might understand why he is the way he is and the past three years he has had a lot to think about he is better and he genuinely loves Joe

@@ivwanajinamonje2289 I kind of guessed that a lot of Ming's behaviour can be explained by his background. I mean the rich live in a different world from us. Have a different mindset on how to handle things. Not excusable but explainable. Which are two distinct things. Also, Ming is the youngest son. So, him being immature and spoiled makes sense to me. Whenever Joe complimented Ming he was confused on how to react. Because he never met a person who sincerely genuinely liked him as a person.
