Four Queens is a very good place to stay.

GREAT VIDEO…. I ALWAYS WATCH EVERY LAS VEGAS 4 QUEENS VIDEO ON KZfaq. THE 4 QUEENS IS MY PLACE. I STAY THERE AT LEAST 6-8 TIMES A YEAR. MORE DURING FOOTBALL SEASON. I KNOW AND LOVE ALL THE BARTENDERS AND SIT AT A VIDEO POKER MACHINE AT THE PALACE BAR FOR 4-8 HOURS A DAY. THE FOOD IS AMAZING TOO. I ALSO REALLY LOVE THE WHISKEY LICKER UP AT BINIONS HOTEL CASINO. BINIONS IS STILL OWNED BY TERRY, THE SAME OWNER OF THE 4 QUEENS. THE NORTH TOWER 4 QUEENS ROOMS WERE THE FIRST ROOMS WHEN THE HOTEL OPENED IN 1966 AND THE CONSTRUCTION STARTED IN 1964 SO THEY ARE NOT GONNA BE THE BIG STRIP SIZED ROOMS YOU HAVE NOWADAYS. IN 1981, THE 4 QUEENS OPENED THEIR SOUTH TOWER ROOMS SO THEY ARE A BIT BIGGER AND HAD A REMODEL IN ABOUT 2016 SO THEY ARE NICER, BIGGER AND A BIT QUIETER. EITHER WAY, I WILL KEEP COMING TO THE FOUR QUEENS AS LONG AS IT STAYS LIKE IT IS NOW. I CANT STAND GOING INTO THE D OR CIRCA FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR. ITS TOO LOUD WITH THE MUSIC BLASTING FOR ME. NICE PLACES FOR SURE BUT NOT FOR ME. I LIKE THE QUIET OLD SCHOOL CASINO VIBE. I WISH LAS VEGAS WOULD GET RID OF THE BUSKERS TOO. ON THE STRIP AND DOWNTOWN, IT GETS TOO TRASHY AND OLD.

I was at the four queens last month. I was on the tenth floor on the south side. You were right, I couldn't sleep! I did however like the 55 players club!

Four Queens is a good choice if you just want a good place to stay in the heart of downtown. But it has no pool or amenities. Even the D and Fremont I believe give you passes to Stadium Swim at Circa. So if you are going in the Summer and care about a pool the Four Queens should be crossed off the list. If you are not planning on swimming then it's a good bargain. It also has a lot of old school style slots to play.

The guy who built and owned the 4 queens had 4 daughters that's why its named 4 queens.

I just got back from staying there it's a decent place good value the only downside when I first walked in my room it smelled like a skunk I guess pot smokers were staying before me a housekeeper gave me a aerosol freshener.

The 4Q is the best bang for the buck in all LV, in my opinion, and no RF is certainly attractive. The standard rooms are MORE than "a little dated", and the furniture has certainly seen better days, but that's why those rooms are affordable. However, I think the remodeling of the standard rooms is now way past due because it looks like nothing has been done to them since the 1980's. The rooms really need to come into the 21st century, and I think hotel guests will appreciate the nicer, more modern rooms, even if they have to pay a bit more for them. I don't know why the hotel's management has been holding back for so long to remodel them, but they need to get with the program!!!
