My Stitching Spot - Lighting and Magnification For Stitching

In this video I am sharing my favorite stitching spot in the house along with the various lighting and magnification aides that I use for optimal stitching results. Tips for smocking with beads are also addressed as that is the current project that I'm working on.

How do you get your smocking plate into your iPad? Photo?

I scan my smocking plate and then save it to dropbox. From there I can pull it up on my ipad. You could also take a picture with your phone and then pull it up from the photos on your ipad. I haven't tried that, so don't know how clear the picture would be when you enlarge it. The smocking plates that I design are already saved on my computer and in Dropbox, so it is very easy to pull those up and enlarge them. Hope that helps.
