I went through 6mths of climbing poles in Witchita Falls, TX. We literally fell 50 ft and bounced off the ground surely they don’t have this training anymore if anyone knows please inform me by now I would think they have cable repelling restraints are something.

Nope no cable repelling restraints lol they do have crossarms on every pole in the utility yard but when i went through we still used a bucksqueeze! A new airman came in the the shop not too long ago and said they switched to patriots which are supposed to be safer

hey, do you know whether or not working as an electrician in the air force will count for your hours towards your journeyman test?
@alexanderjim93018 жыл бұрын
Only certain states count it. Like him, I'm an electrician in the Air Force, but my home state doesn't recognize the work hours because it's not logged under a master electrician.

They dont count, however, if you read the papers you sign for the apprenticeship at the IBEW there is an option to test up into a 3 or 4 year apprentice spot.
