There’s a reason I have a kmf tattoo, tj has always been a huge inspiration in my life and I will always remember how he used to share stories and motivations with us. Hearing stuff like this from big names and people you look up to can really help to keep you grounded and remind you of what really matters. Thanks teeg

Wow what an honour to get a pinned comment, since I guess a few people might see this I wanted to say that if you life isn’t where you want it to be or you feel like your headed in a direction you don’t like or don’t recognize it’s never to late. I’m lucky enough to have know from around the age of 13 (I just turned 22) that I wanted to be an engineer. An intense passion for cars driven by family members and inspirations like tj and Adam made it a no brainer. And as of this year I have graduated and began my journey into career employment. But I’m not working with or on cars. I’m working at a desk designing small parts for machines that make other small car parts. It’s not what I want to do and it’s not what interests me but that’s ok. Everyone has to start somewhere. I’m thankful to have a job and an education and a direction to point in life. Just because you’re not where you want to be doesn’t mean hard work and determination can’t get you there. If there’s one thing I’ve learn more than anything from tj it’s that. and incase you didn’t realize this whole comment boils down to keep moving forward! So again tj thank you so much for inspiring so many and providing us with the knowledge and confidence in our selves and our abilities and pushing us to chase our dreams. We love you! Keep moving forward baby!!!

Tattoos are not a solution. It’s just a form of expression. What I noticed that actually cured my long standing mental issues permanently and they did the same for many people that I know is 1. Be close to God (it does not matter which religion it is as there is only 1 God), and 2. Learning a language from a country that has extremely high intelligence. Google it. (Chinese, Japanese or korean). In my case I learned chinese and all of a sudden my brain if firing in all cylinders. I see things people around me can’t and that has helped me so much financially because I could solve problems others struggles with. Its crazy. I hope this info can help you and those who feel lost and hopeless. Without God and Chinese language, I may not be here today.

It’s so true. Material things don’t make you truly happy. You think they will when you have nothing, but once you obtain that thing it just becomes the new normal. The new baseline. I’m forever appreciative of everything, but I’m still the same depressed kid I was 10 years ago. It’s made me really appreciate the little things in life and look forward to those things even more than the cars and builds, idk if it’s a product of me getting older but.. I feel you dude!

From someone who has been watching for about 9 years, it has been amazing to watch this channel grow, and most importantly watch you grow Teej. I have never doubted that what you have built has been built on nothing but hard work. There are no gimmicks and trickery with you. You have stayed authentic through it all. You deserve all the good that life brings you and as someone who doesnt have much but gets by working I don’t doubt that things are probably extremely stressful, bigger bank bigger problems. People are so inundated with the wrong people being famous and the idea of going viral that they forget some people wirk harder than that one off video that made them famous. You grew organically and with that you kept the ship inline, good for you man, you are so much more than a youtuber, you are running a multiple corporations. Again Bravo, and thank you for being one of the consistent ones 🙏 appreciate you brother

Just keep in mind TJ, most of us out here, at least for myself, I work travel construction with an 8 month pregnant wife that can go any day. But I have to still work 6 hours away and stay in a hotel to pay our bills. I work every single day. Saturdays, most sundays, at least 12 hours a day. I wont be getting any financial help if I take leave to even meet my baby. Thats what it takes just to pay the bills on an apartment, 2 cars, not fun ones by the way, and car insurance, food and all the other bs like cell phone and internet. I might have 500-1000 dollars in my account at a given time, but I’m literally working my life away. I will never make enough money doing this to ever sit behind the wheel of your even your cheapest car. I can’t even buy a house. Just appreciate your life man.

You're circumstances are different. TJ dosent have a family to maintain. Correct me if I'm wrong but it just sounds like you're belittling his problems because he's not suffering like you. Some people don't get to choose their path and have to work with what they got, others make choices in their lifes that led them to take responsibility for their actions, and others have the freedom to pursue whatever they want. Each have their own struggles and just because you were born into different circumstances or are in different circumstances, doesn't mean we all don't suffer the same for not having a purpose that satisfies us.

Thank you TJ, I’ve recently lost my Father early at 54, less than a year after i made a deal to purchase my Late grandmothers house from my sibling, half and half ownership. While in between jobs it just delayed my motivation to move forward with anything. Both of my cars broke down and my dads car was also broke at the time. Honestly it’s been the toughest 2 months i’ve experienced. I’ve been exhausting every dime to my name to try and get at least one of my vehicles running again to get to a new job. I know life can kick your ass even when you feel like you’re winning. Keep your head up and KEEP MOVING FORWARD. That saying has helped my every morning get up and put everything to the side to continue. Thank you so much TJ ❤️

Overall I enjoy the life I've chosen to live, but I'm constantly having to reevaluate my goals and resolves in order to maintain that contentment. I love new experiences and getting to know people. One day I hope to find someone I can share my life with who also just loves new experiences and sharing them with others. Until then, I'll continue to enjoy traveling, cars, and people. Things come and go, I did the same thing when I was younger, bought a house, a truck, and a race bike, and it was never enough. Soon I had to buy a bigger house with a bigger garage, then it was a race trailer, then another newer race bike, and a dirt bike, etc. And while there are still things that I do want to get, I've learned not to put too much stress on them and underatand that my life is still great even if I don't get them. I used to be very upset with myself whenever I didn't get something I set my goal on, but like you said, things can change in an instant so it's important to enjoy and be grateful for what we do have. I still race, and i still love it as I have the same "nothing else matters" escape from racing, but now I also enjoy the process. I will also say having a super supportive wife and a young son has definitely helped me learn this, the people around you matter the most. You're doing great man, just remember that happiness isn't a destination, it's a journey with ups and downs like anything else.
@IceyDrewF1

I think the wife and son helps with happiness a lot more than people realize. It gives you a purpose and you aren't just mindlessly going through the motions each day for nothing. Before I had a kid I was pretty lost, found it hard to even set goals because the future wasn't something I cared much about.

@@IceyDrewF1 I will agree that since my son was born I do feel like I have more of a purpose because there's literally a life that relies on me, so no excuses. However I don't ever want to insinuate that it's necessary to have a kid to be happy because that's simply not true, I know plenty of people really happy without kids.

I agree kids do bring happiness and meaning but also it's another kind of stress. Now I have to provide for her and her medical issues and some days it's a lot. But watching her get older and continue to progress makes the hard days bearable to a degree. In the end it will work out I hope but for now it's just grinding and providing for the fam. Hopefully when i'm older i'll have money to get me a type r or corolla gr or something haha but kids are great motivators if you're involved and doing the right things.

As I was watching this video, I had this feeling that TJ experienced a coming to Christ moment and was going to publicly announce His faith. Although it wasn’t mentioned, I do believe that this is a very pivotal time where most people in similar scenarios eventually come to faith in Jesus Christ. Most non believers or lukewarm believers carry this idea that Jesus is a religious figure, when in reality, He isn’t. Jesus desires nothing more than your heart, believing what He did on the cross. From there, He will do the rest. He wants a friendship with us, just how we were designed in the beginning as told in Genesis. With that said, I don’t know where TJ’s mind is when it comes to Jesus, but I am very confident that He will encounter Christ. And through Christ, all the peace that he is looking for, that we ALL look for, can be found in Him! After all, Sabrina is a Christian who has a powerful testimony of faith through her battle with cancer. For all we know, she may have already planted a seed in TJ. ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭NKJV ““These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ‬‬

I can’t tell you how much this video helped teej. I love how a famous and successful person like you can share the “up close and personal” hardships of life that everyone experiences. You’re extremely motivating and I hope that one day I can have a business in the automotive industry as well. It’s a struggle, but like you said, we have to enjoy it. Thank you again!!

A perspective that changed my life was when I heard the purpose of life is not happiness, but peace. As long as you are doing the right things, improving, making yourself proud, learning from mistakes, helping others, you can find peace even in chaos. Happiness will always come and go so you cannot chase it. Peace can always be there especially through Jesus

Tj this is so awesome! It’s refreshing seeing someone who is so well known be so vulnerable to the public. For dang sure I know it wasn’t easy and just like you said it’s a little embarrassing & you did it anyways, that’s something to be so proud of. We are all very proud of you it’s not like you need to hear it from us but all these years encouraging us, you who’s been thru everything behind the scenes, things we don’t see, there has been a lot you’ve gone thru to get to this point. We are so grateful for the person YOU are! Keep being YOU that’s who people love, this is a great video showcasing who YOU are. We love you Tj 💙 people needed to hear your testimony

Thank you for the video Tj I really needed to hear that. For whatever reason after I started getting a little bit of success I started to stress about everything to the point to where I haven’t been doing videos or working on cars (which I love). Wish you weren’t going through it as well but it is motivating and helpful to hear that you still go through the same even at your level. I’ll be focusing on not sweating the small stuff so I can just do, learn, grow and be happy again. Thank you brother 🫡

thank you TJ for this amazing video. I think we all needed to hear this....the world is crazy right now so awesome positive messages like yours is so nice to see...my dad once told me, to control what you can control in life, and what ever you cant control put that on a "shelf" to deal with at a later time. dont sweat the small stuff is a great mindset to have because life is always filled with us and downs and crazy shit...but the mindset is the key....being present is the key........thank you for sharing your message TJ it really touched me.

Man, this put me in my feels. I’m almost 36 and I still struggle with trying to find my life’s purpose. The marine corps I THOUGHT was my purpose, serve my country, learn a skill such as being an air frame technician on F-18’s, but that was stripped away because I had an asthma attack months before I was supposed to ship out for boot camp. Then I have struggled my whole life with either untreated or undiagnosed mental health problems. I’ve discovered some really good treatment programs that have helped thousands of people so far, and I’d love to share them with you in hopes that it’ll help you in the long term. ❤️ keep moving forward my dude.

Needed this man. I’ve been working non stop 50-60 hours a week, going through relationship struggles, honestly one of the reasons why I’m working so much, just to get away, get money to move out and away, but both of those factors plays a big issue into my mental health. Not taking time for myself, a day off, going for a drive, I would say ride my motorcycle but riding with a bad mindset is usually bad news, mental health is no joke and I’ve come to realize that.

Thank you for sharing this. Far too often stories don't get shared, as well as many times pieces are missing. There's so many stories that should/need to be shared. People often don't see the struggles the mistakes, the strength that it takes and discipline to get through and achieve things. Growing and changing and surviving takes a lot of strength and fighting through fears to find what's on the other side waiting. Keep moving forward is something that has helped me through many tough patches. Anyways, enough rambling. Again thank you for sharing this. I been here since the garage days, crazy seeing how much you've grown and how far you've made it

Amen brother, been watching for quite some time now. At first I lived vicariously through your channel, and was able to enjoy the mods you did on your car and others but also the banter between your friends. This was what I wanted so badly in my life at the time. Eventually I was able to live out some similar memories of my own and progress myself as a person while also growing with my friends, and in some way felt like I was growing as you did on the channel(as corny as that sounds). It’s been a cool experience to turn to your videos even as an adult with an adult job now and still find peace. Thank you for your videos and I hope you find your peace and keep moving forward. 🖤

I love the 'Keep Moving Forward' mantra. And I love watching your videos. That video was raw and personal, it was great. I think most people have this skewed perspective that money fixes everything, but it doesn't. Good on ya for working on your own mental health. It's so important. And selfishly, I'm glad you've stuck around. Been watching since Celenia was highlighter yellow and you had the R35. It's been really cool to watch you change and grow over the years. In a weird way, I feel like part of your friend group. Thanks for all you do.
