Bethany, I've found a couple of your videos so helpful! Thank you! About a decade ago I discovered brazilian keratin treatments (BKTs) and I've been getting them ever since (about every 3-6 months). My hair has grown (finally) like wild fire. Well, as you know, it always grew, but the relaxers I used to get damaged my hair so much that it would break, and I could never grow my hair past my shoulders. So, fast-forward to today...I've gotten my hair to grow long (past my bra strap in the back). BUT the BKTs straighten my hair too much. I actually love my natural curls, and the only reason I keep getting the BKTs is because they kept my hair so healthy. Without them, my hair eventually gets SO DRY that I have no choice but to get another BKT (and deal with hair that's too straight for my taste). Have you ever gotten a BKT? If so, did you transition from that to the Aphogee 2-step protein treatment? Does the Aphogee 2-step treatment straighten your hair (or at least, stretch your natural curl)? How do I get the benefits of the BKT without all the straightening? Sorry for the long-winded questions, but we seem to have the same type of hair and I'm SO inspired by your natural curls. I do in fact have low-porosity hair like yours, so I'm heading to the store right now to buy the Shea Moisture products you recommend. Thanks in advance!

Thank you! The hair color I had in thisvideo was a result of bleaching my naturally dark hair and wasn't a particular color. But I'm sure a good colorist could match the color if you showed a picture! 😊👌🏽

+Danyale T Hey there! At night I put my hair in a "pineapple", meaning I pull it to the top of my head and secure it with a satin wrapped hair scrunchie. And I will definitely do a curly to straight video in the future so make sure you subscribe! ;)

I bleached my naturally dark hair to get this color! And sometimes I would tone with Wella T18 or a purple shampoo. And thanks! 😊

+Nxtka When I bleached my hair I used coconut oil as a base to help protect my hair and always followed up with a protein treatment! Of course some damage is inevitable but this helped me keep it to a minimum! 👌🏽

What can I do for stiff frizzy hair when I do wash n gos after it drys it's so stiff and only some parts are defined and yours looks so soft and it moves what would you recommend ?

+Jasmine Monk hmm, do you use gels or mousse that might be leaving it crunchy? Or possible too much product?
