God, this hits so close to home. I'm undiagnosed (but have a lot of certainty), and so much of what you're showing here and talking about here is like looking in a mirror. I don't know how you've managed to keep consistent on your channel and projects. I'm always jumping between projects, from 3D modelling, to AI, to music, to content creation/streaming, to illustration, 3D printing, painting, I never finish anything, but I always go back to it months later. My space is a loooot more modest than yours, but I feel that whole - everything needs to be out and seen, otherwise it's forgotten - people mistake it for clutter and laziness, but I can't function with everything packed away.

Our never-ending dilemma of wanting to be able to put things we're not using (aka: currently interested in) AWAY so it both looks cleaner and doesn't get in our way, combined with the fact that if we DO put something away, we'll completely forget it exists. And glass-fronted cabinets are freaking EXPENSIVE. Maybe DIY some plywood cabinets with plexiglass doors? Or thrift some cabinets and replace the doors with plexiglass? Or get those inexpensive Wal-Mart cabinets and replace the doors with plexiglass? Or in any of these scenarios, just remove the doors all together? Tall bookshelves with clear plastic containers w/ lids? We've got 4 ADHDers living in this house, and we have a LOT of heavy-duty plastic shelving racks throughout the house in lieu of cabinets. (The kind that are 2' deep and 3' wide.) Sure, they're useful and they keep stuff "out" where we can see it, but there's no way to adjust the shelving levels, and my god they're hideous. It doesn't help that some are beige, some are black, some are stainless steel. Some matching floor-to-ceiling adjustable shelving units would really be nice, but money doesn't grow on trees.

Neurodivergent as well. I took over our empty unfinished basement, same situation no closets etc. My solution was to divide the space into zones for each type of art. I have a huge table in the center with shelves underneath so things are accessible but I need a clean table so I have space to spread out during a project. I focused on work areas, so I have a computer table with shelves forming a wall behind it, I use clear containers so I can see what’s inside but still have it organized. I use bookshelves again with clear containers and I have a “current projects” rolling cart with shelves. Everything I need for the project is on the shelf. It’s tough I feel your pain.

Yes! My greater studio is basically in quadrants and this is just the art quadrant. Kinda helps

Yeah; I have tons of tubs/totes but most of the stuff here isn’t really appropriate for those
