My Styling Routine for Ultra Defined Curls! | Ringlets & Curly Roots!

My Curly Hair routine for extreme curl definition from the roots all the way down to the ends! This is how I get curly roots, and shiny defined ringlets! I don't do this all of the time because I don't think it's the best for healthy hair, but it's a really great routine for when you want really defined curls!

Lana, I am with you. I’m a definition girl too. It means you can rock your wash n go frizz free for my full 6 days before I wash it again. Full definition a long with your preserving tips and my hair is alway 😘.

I took notes on the steps of this process and edited it for my own type of curly hair since I have a mix of looser and tighter curls and OMG my hair has never seemed better in my opinion! I keep everything in the notes in my phone so that I can remember everything since I don’t wash my hair often enough to know everything I did from the week before. This honestly hopefully works for me long term because it would help so much, thank you!

Depending on your hair type it may be best to only finger detangle to curl train (and detangle) and maybe a stronger hold product like a mousse or gel

The plopping would probably frizz my hair too. You could skip the plopping and use a curl cream and then a gel over it.

For the clip with the towel that you did there are different hair towels you can use instead of doing that. I use a turbine twist and it works good keeping my hair out of the way!

Hi Lana, how long is your hair when fully stretched out? We have about the same curl patern and yet my hair looks so much shorter when it dries. Ive tried so mamy different styling techniques but it keeps getting so short when it dries. Even tho it touches my but if its totally strecched out

@amiyahancock4500 wauw that's heartbreaking. Is there any way to change my porosity? As in a different way of styling or using specific products that can get your hair to look at least a little closer to its actual length?
