Hi Fred ! How are you doing? It’s been 5years since we invited you here in Wonju, Korea for the opening event of our club(kimchi).Hope you remember us~ Must be frustrating to be at home for so long . You should be winning tournaments all over the world! Thank god you opened an youtube channel and it’s been very helpful. Thank you! I have a small question about the fundamental things about billiards if you don’t mind answering. I’m a 32handicap player and have no more desire or passion to be better to compete in higher level. But I definitely want lower handicap players in our club to get better to enjoy the game more rather than beeing stressed all the time. It’s a hobby for many players and hobbies should be fun! So here’s what I’m curious about. Many players , even the higher handicappers find hard time hitting straigt when using english . Almost everyone can swing the cue in straigt line without the ball . But when they set up at the ball they tend to look at the cue ball and the second ball from the middle of the cue ball to adjust how much ball to hit then turns the cue for english, not moving parellel to the target line. That means that position of your arm or some thing else is different for every different english you use. That stops the cue go straigt and even it goes straight , it isn’t the actual thickness you wanted. So most of the time you are miss aiming and you actually have no idea how much ball you’re hitting. For example I saw this video and try to share it with my young friend who is competing in the PBA Q school right now and even in his level he couldn’t hit it straight to the rail with max english. So is it right to keep your focus on the cue and try to maintain all of your body exactly the same everytime? Because when you are used to looking at the target from the center of the ball all the time it could be very challenging to move parellel to either side and could look very scary from that point of view. My poor English makes it so hard to ask you this simple question . Am I even right? I’ve seen most of the video of you on youtube and your cue always goes straigt. Do you feel the same way all the time? If you want to hit the second ball very thin on the right side and have to use max right english , how do you manage to hit so straigt and hit the exact amount of the ball? Do you ever compromise your arm or anything else to use max english? You absolutely look the same everytime to me! Is there any advice you can give? Thanks for showing us the best 3-cushion performance for such a long time and hope to see you for at least couple of more decades playing! You are the GOAT!!! Wish you the best on the tour!

Thank you. I made an equation from your contents. (15 - 1st ball) + (slope * 2) = 3 coushion (15-15) + (0*2) = 0 , (1st ball 15, aim 15) = slope 0 (15-12) + (0*2) = 3 , (1st ball 12, aim 12)= slope 0 (15-15) + (5*2) = 10, (1st ball 15, aim 10)= slope 5 (15-12) + (3*2) = 9, (1st ball 12 , aim 9) = slope 3 (15-20) + (5*2) = 5, (1st ball 20, aim 15) = slope 5 (15-30) + (10*2) = 5, (1st ball 30, aim 20) = slope 10 Is this equation right?
