My take on the James Gang song: Ashes, the Rain, and I

5 ай бұрынI always liked this song. It was one of the first albums (James Gang Rides Again) I ever bought. The song 'Funk 49' is on this album. This is not at all what you would expect to hear on a three piece rock band in 1970.
I use Cakewalk by Bandlab and several free VST plugins for sound (LABS, SINE, BBC Orchestra, Ample Guitar Lite. I also use Shotcut and OBS for visual things, both of which are also free. Cakewalk is still free, though I believe they will be returning to a pay model this year. I will likely get it. I like it.

Great rendition of this song! Enjoyed the instrumentation you chose and you did an excellent job of blending them together. The video fits the vibe of the song nicely. The rain hitting the leaves appears as tiny lights blinking in the rain scenes of the streets! Notice from the 1:45 mark to the 2:30 mark. The rain evolving into lightening and back to rain was very cool! Please continue making these beautiful music and awesome videos!
