This is my take on Robert Welsh’s video where he talks about the Seint Demi Method and MLMs. I mostly focus on Seint’s Demi line and method, comparing the traditional technique of using color correctors under foundation with being able to wear Seint Demi Color on its own.
One of the main take aways of his video for me was the assertion that Demi is just like any other color corrector on the market - not really, imo. In this video, I do a side-by-side comparison, and of course, share my thoughts.
As I say in my video, this is in no way meant to be combative or hostile. I’m a big fan of Robert Welsh and his talents as a MUA and I watch his content regularly.

I forgot to mention in my video that there are liquid, water based color correctors on the market well, like the liquid correctors from NYX and Exa, to name a couple off the top of my head. But since they are water based, the dry, chalky appearance to the skin can still occur, especially by the end of the day. Aside from that, I usually see water based concealer layered on top of that as well, compounding the problem, imo. Again, Demi can be worn alone. No layering, and no water based liquids that evaporate from the skin surface. That’s a huge bonus to me.

Both sides look nice, and maybe on a big event I would like full makeup, but for day to day, I love my Seint demi. (And no, I am not a part of the MLM.)

I find a lot of people like to make blanket statements on mlm. From what I have heard from artist seint is the exception and I don’t feel the structure and how they do things is the same. I love love my seint. I had given up on makeup because I had so much makeup I wasn’t happy with and had given up using it. Seint has brought my love of makeup back.

Thank you so much for your comment 😊 Yes, I’m very happy that I picked the right Artist for me to sign up with. My experience with the team I’m part of has been great - absolutely zero pressure to do anything I don’t want to do. I always have help if I want it. I can do literally nothing and it doesn’t matter. We all talk everyday about things other than Seint as well, which I love. Again, I may be the exception and not the rule, but my experience has been very different to the toxic stories many of us have heard from people that have been involved in mlms, from money loss, to guilt tripping, to manipulation, etc. For me, the main thing is the product. I had a very similar experience to yours. I had SO much makeup (because I love it) but I got to the point that my makeup finish on my skin was not the same anymore. I’m happy to have found it, and I love sharing it with others.

@@EstheticianLisaL I have really good skin at 51. My biossance products work well for me. But the way my skin looks after using seint I love because it lets my good skin shine through. I have been putting the Beekman skin tint primer underneath and my seint looks even better. I just enjoy taking a hour a couple times a week just to put on makeup. I can have a few different blushes without pallets sitting all around. I am finally actually using my makeup which is fun again.

That is so great to hear! This is also one of my favorite things about sharing this makeup, getting feedback like this from my customers ♥️ And I love Beekman 1802 products, too. My favorite is the probiotic ceramide serum milk drops.

@@EstheticianLisaL defintely try that tinted primer under your seint. It has spf too. But i dont use it as a spf because I would have to use a ton.

I actually don’t have a downline 😂 I really am all about the products mostly. And, to respond to the mood of your comment specifically, because I gather you are from the anti-MLM movement: To each their own, but in many instances I can see the anti-MLM movement as its own grift that anti-MLM influencers are using for their own benefit, to push their own merch, gaining subscribers for monetary gain, etc. Anti-mlmers sensationalize big time for their own agenda, and many times, they do not even know what they are talking about. As in this instance, with Demi Color. In this video, I was addressing some of the statements Robert made (and the statements of others he showcased in his video) that I do not find factual in this specific instance with the Demi Color line. As far as the MLM culture, I even say here that some anti-mlm sentiments I do actually agree with - the toxic behavior, inauthentic hun-bots, horrible ethics, and especially cult behavior. I am the complete opposite, and whether you believe that or not, I don’t care. It’s the truth.
