Old bikes are like old cars; it makes me smile with pleasure when I see a nicely maintained or restored one in daily use.

That steeeeeem! I got a few old 150mm Tiogas in the parts bin😅 The XT rear derailleur might just need a good cleaning. I restored my Shimano 600 derailleur to crisp shifting doing that. I originally thought spring was sacked but it was fine after cleaning.

If the mech was in filthy dirty condition I'd hope a clean up would fix it but sadly it's really clean. Never know though, but of GT85 might get it going.

Always wanted a P7, especially with those forks. I'm afraid to say that you'll have to strip the XT rear completely. But it will come up like new. That's a lovely old Rockhopper too. Looking forward to the build. 👍

Oh I'm the same, absolute dream bike, this style F7 I've always thought looked very cool. The next project I'm working on has a very similar fork (big clue to another build I'm doing there 🤣).

Wow, i like the old 90' stuff. At the moment some 700c early crossbikes arrrived in my collection, like the alpinestars xross, stevens 7.6.2 and stevens 6.6.6.2. KHS are rare in germany, the Specialized rockhopper is pretty cool. I gott one of the year 2000 i gess. And one frame with fork with the Natrium frame 😊 Really amazing what really cool bikes for sale in England.😊👍 Greetings from germany

I like the old steel 700c bikes, I had a Marin Stinson a few years ago, put some nice light road kit on it and used it as a do everything gravel bike type thing 😁

@TheRetroBiker True Temper OX KHS? Worth a resell. Hardrock not so. What's the plan for the silver Zoom bars? 🤔

The Hardrock has a new home already so the Zoom kit will end up on eBay soon no doubt. Once I've stripped the KHS though I think I'll sell that one, would be nice to keep it but the size is a shade too small.
