UPDATE: the toilet stopped working again after the hosts "fixed it" so I couldn't use it for the rest of my stay lmao.. I reported this to Airbnb Resolution Centre and they're refusing to give me a refund beyond $100.

Ma'am a $100 refund????!!!! This is why me and my Marriott points stay in hotels lol I always wanted to try Airbnbs but I am terrified of being watched from cameras and the horror stories people have told me using them. Plus the one huge on in New York w/ a person working at Airbnb and a tenant. Nope! Nope!

Right. It's really not worth it. They had a great marketing tactic in the beginning, but with the increase in price + lack of protection and security, it's such a waste of money and time. 🤮

the coffee crisps took me out (the most Canadian thing ever!)..... my girl...with only a $100 refund😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 so sorry you had this experience and the fact that I was downtown during fan expo and didn't see THE QueenTiwa herself i'm hurt😅

They should’ve given you half of your money back for the inconvenience. That would’ve pissed me off I wouldn’t be cleaning up that bacteria mess! So yucky🤮

Yeah, they absolutely should've given be a better refund than that. It was so jarring, but nothing has been done to resolve the situation 😭

@@Queentiwa if they’re not willing to refund half of your money you can file a complaint with your bank if you used a debit card…let them know what you paid for isn’t what you got. If you paid by credit card I’m not sure how they handle situations like this but I’d call and complain about it and hear what they say. Good luck sis.

Half? Had she stayed at a Marriott they would've at least upgraded her room and possibly refunded ALL her money. And the nerve of AirBnB trying to represent themselves as some great biz model. For who? Certainly not the consumer. They hype this stock so much. Now I know why I won't buy it. I don't invest in companies unless I believe in their product. It's a HARD NO for me. Sorry to rant under your post. 😭😭😭😭

It sounds like the flapper/valve on the toilet was bad (for one) and so the toilet was continuously filling with water. A simple replacement wouldn't have fixed the clog but the toilet probably wouldn't have been overflowing like that.

@@Queentiwa It definitely sounds like it was faulty. I'd see if you can request the plumbers report maybe (if they call one) and see what it says. Hopefully airbnb will agree to a refund and that drama won't be necessary though.

Idk why they put the bed in the loft directly under that pipe when there were other places they ould've put it, like with the head under that wooden slab, the wooden slab is higher than the metal pole, there would've still been plenty of space, it wouldn't have restricted movement of the space or anything, lol. Was it a troll or something.
