My Terrible DIY Video: How to Remove Instrument Cluster from Mercedes ML or GL

Күн бұрынMy worst video ever. How to remove and replace instrument cluster from Mercedes Benz ML or GL. Covers model years from 2007 and up. Requires some crude tools, such as scissor or bodger tool from stiff stainless steel. No need to disconnect battery. Your mileage is stored in the ECU, so you won't lose it. Date and Time are stored in the cluster.

Not bothered about the quality of the video. It's provided me with all the info I need to get this out. Didn't realise it was so easy (My lower centre display stopped working today and I want to see if i can fix it). Thanks for putting that up.

Dont forget the clip in the middle at the top that also holds on to the cluster.

If I swap one does it have to be re-programmed or can I just start it up and go?

Now my Speedometer is not working properly. It's into the Clock way below Zero when I restart the car. Any Ideas how to reset?
