My favourite ... DOUGHNUTS!! Here's my easy Thermomix doughnut recipe for you! I'd love to know what you think and how you got on making yours! Recipe below!

180g milk
1 level Tbsp dry active yeast
1 egg
2 egg yolks
60 caster sugar
500g strong white bread flour
1/2 lemon, zest
1 pinch salt
125g unsalted butter, in small chunks
Sunflower oil for frying
Caster sugar for rolling
Custard for filling

Hello from Singapore, Sophia. Thank you very much for this recipe and video. I tried making this following your video very closely and I have never tasted doughnuts these good. They stayed soft even 24 hours later at room temperature. Your recipe is a keeper. Thank you again 💓.

Just made my first batch of Thermy Doughnuts today and they were amazing.!!!! Thanks so much for your vid. I just had to make a small adjustment (decrease) to the deep frying time and oil temperature. My next batch will be hot jam doughnuts. Yum!!

So Thermomix doesn't deep fry food?

They look good but NEVER put a lid on a deep fryer when it is on. When it fry’s food it creates steam that will collect as condensation on the lid and then drip back into the fryer. And hot oil don’t mix together well.
