The sprites in the past ,their moves, poses, stances and effects used to be very sharp ,subtle and stylish even when sometimes exaggerated, quite intense. Which use to contrast with the semi realistic old blend Shinkiro style. This style used now is definitely very vanilla generic boring manga style.

I'm glad Tizoc is finally back to his Griffin Persona in FF: COTW instead of that Dinosaur Persona in KOF XIV and XV.

It makes sense considering KoF takes place in a separate continuity, though Tizoc was present with his Griffon persona in KoF 2003 and XI

The only reason they made King of Dinosaurs like that (and Kukri and Mian) is because the game devs had to cut some corners by minimizing facial animations on those 3 characters. Imagine making a new game, making their own engine, had no staff, or funding and had 2 years time to make KOF XIV. (Source Yasuyuki Oda interview)

Actually the last SNK game to feature English dubbing was KOF Sky Stage back in ~2010 I believe... but like anyone remembers that game lmao I AM VERY HYPED FOR THIS. You can feel the love oozing out of this game, you can TELL SNK was extremely excited to work on Fatal Fury again.

KoF12 had voice acting, but much like Maximum Impact, it wasn't really good. Still, while I don't know if I'm gonna play with them, I am happy at the inclusion of english voices, and with much better direction too. I like to think of it as a sign that SNK is doing well these days at least. Game looks fantastic, my only gripe so far is that Buster Wolf needs a little more oomph, especially in that last hit.

Honestly, I play Video Games especially the Fighting Genre always in English, it's better to Listen to it, rather than Reading it below, so you don't miss out on it, Not to mention that this isn't Anime we're talking about because when you watch it Subbed, you can always Pause the Video to read it even during Action scenes, Video Games however don't have that Option because you'll accidentally Skip the Cutscene.

There was another trailer talking a "Rev" system. You build up a percentage and it's used on certain things like SF6 Drive. It seems to add push blocking, Max mode, and a few other things.

The fast animations in combination with the motion blur makes the visuals so smooth to look at. With that new Rev system, high level gameplay is gonna be hype. The thing I'm actually looking forward to is that if Mai is playable, I wonder if she will get a redesign to match her age. And who knows if she might me named "Mai Bogard" this time...

I was seriously not expecting this trailer but i'm not complaining cuz man am i SO glad to see my girl hotaru with an new english and japanese voice and her finally in 3D after 25 years! I love seriously how well detailed the team put in her and made her more serious and determined unlike before when she was docile and passive not that there's anything wrong with that it does suits her but for her to confront gato she needs to be serious and determined. Now I just hope for few things, 1:having the perfect story she deserves instead of being brushed off so many times, 2:having a special intro interaction win quote with rock and hoping the team makes them a couple in my opinion plus a special intro interaction and win quote against gato. Lastly hoping for her JP VA Manaka Iwami to voice hotaru permanently and for kofxv i hope

Kof 12 has English voices. The last pixel art game. Yeah, I known 13 is the best. But it's backgrounds weren't pixel art, they were HD.

KOF XIII used the same character assets from KOF XII. They rushed KOF XII to market just so it could coincide with the release of KOF The Movie. If SNK didn't rush it, then KOF XIII would have been XII. And the actual KOF XIII will be the Dream Match game. Probably with new characters from the Ash Saga.

SNK took what Capcom did for SF 6, but flavored their own way with the look of Level 1, 2 & 3 supers. This installment of Garou: COTW will certainly be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

My girl Hotaru looks so good! I mean, it looks like a solid cast overall just from what we've seen here, but look who got billed right after our two leading boys. I can hardly wait for more family drama as she tries to smack more sense into Gato.

4:24-4:33 Shoryu is the *2nd* person I've heard compare Preecha's move to Ken Dragon's Lash. Never played SF6 yet, is it *THAT* bad? CotW is looking pretty good! The fact that this game's getting dual audio option is a surprising, but welcome option IMO. We haven't had this since the KOF MI series (And KOF XII), but it looks like their bringing in some decently known talent for the cast so I'm honestly hyped on who they bring. Griffin Puatu as Rock is gonna be interesting. Imagine Louis from Beastars start performing the Deadly Rave, that deer's got wings!

I think Rock's raising storm attack needs to be more flashy. One of coolest moves in fighting games history for some reason looks basic. They need to make the move look more devastating like in the anime.

The art style and graphic is good, albeit a bit off putting in term of the models, but I do believe and hope that SNK keep on improving, and honing it to be better in the next trailer in the future!

First of all Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Gameplay is stylish fire awesome, English and Japanese VA confirmed to be awesome, and newcomer Preecha is here let's gooooooo! I'm Rev it Up for 2025 also the new mechanics are super awesome I can't wait for more details and I can play both English and Japanese Voice. Welcome back to Analysis Shoryugame, and this is the end of KOF XV so sad but looking forward to a new redesign of Yamazaki and others.

COTW does look promising. I have faith SNK will put out another banger, they've been on a roll for the last few years now. Also I've heard it's going to be showcased at EVO Japan this year through Maximilian Dood. Wonder what other good things we'll hear out of EVO Japan? So far the only info I've heard was this and a new character announcement for another fighting game called Idol Showdown. (BTW Shoryugame, if you read this and ask what's Idol Showdown let me just say WELCOME TO THE VTUBER RABBIT HOLE, MOTHERFLUFFER! AAAHHHAHAHA!! 😈)

Looks like they aren’t finished yet. Looking for some upgrades on Terry’s buster wolf. But it still looks amazing so far. Can’t wait to see what Andy can do, and what the lore is like. They better not have Rock beat Terry clean 😂

Indeed I still play it from time to time. Some other fgc personalities got to actually play it, and so much is returning from Garou. That actually made me super excited hearing that. Feints and cancelling all in there, TOP is now SMG with added mechanics. Also I enjoy playing the whole cast of Garou and hope they all come back. This just might be a fighting game i will want to play all the time. Not since sf4 has a game made me want to play all the time

It has already been confirmed a while ago that Rock is the canonical winner of Garou Mark of the Wolves and that his ending is canon.

I am sorry but I am not a fan of Terry Bogard not speaking engrish I wasn't a fan of that back then in Maximum Impact and I am not a fan of that here Yeah...I will stick with the Japanese dub Not a fan of english dub in fighting games, like in Street Fighter games for example I just hope SNK doesn't start to follow the trends of japanese games changing to appeal to the western market/culture 😨

I don't like their designs, very vanilla manga style that lacks creativity and authenticity. Hotaru s poses and expressions are plain bad as in boring. Moves look smooth though ,a bit too flashy but I don't mind. Snk have lost the egde and the former sharpness and subtlety of their old style. Everything is on the nose now

My only disappointment (so far) is Preecha. WHO asked for this cringe looking character that looks like somebody you would expect to find at a Planned Parenthood rally? Literally NOBODY! Unfortunately that's a pretty HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT considering we are getting her instead of the waifus we deserve!
