I don’t think you should receive a Loss for the elbow as it was obviously unintentional, definitely should be a no contest tho.

2 things 1: the right hook clearly didn't land, the wrist of the glove landed a bit, but the brunt of the impact was clearly the forearm 2: It wasn't intentional, Joe was desperate and trying to clinch as fast as possible and the shot that was supposed to be a hook was undershot and landed as an elbow.

Look the most I'll say to please both parties, is that while yes it was an elbow, it was however unintentional. As you saw that Joe was still moving in the opposite direction to the hook, which then caused KSI to miscalculate Joe's trajectory therefore he technically knocked himself out. I want to say there should be a rematch, but in this case it should just be a no contest

No contest is the fairest result I think, I don't believe there was any intent in the elbow (forearm really), it's clear JJ was going for the hook but missed and accidentally hit Joe with his forearm, and Joe was falling into JJ anyway. JJ was winning the fight so far but we can't say he would've won anyway, they weren't even halfway through the rounds yet. A rematch would probably be difficult with scheduling, JJ vs Tommy in August/September then JJ vs Jake in late 2023 or early 2024 makes sense. In conclusion: Should be no contest

I don’t think it was intentional but rules are rules, it needs to be a no contest for the integrity of these events. It would’ve been unlikely but it’s certainly not unheard of to be getting destroyed all fight long then win with one punch, by knocking him out with your elbow you took that chance away from him, so there’s no way we can be 100% sure you would’ve won…

The fact the judges and ref all saw the replay and still gave KSI the win is crazy. I don’t think it was on purpose so a NC is 100% the right call.

The resoanble thing that happened is that JJ went for a hook, but Fournier leaned in for a clintch but it made contact with the glove, but all of the force was on the forearm/elbow. which resulted in JJ elbowing him unintentially I think it should be a no contest and definitely not a loss. I have utmost respect for your hardwork ethic and you certainly did kept outboxing him in the ring. That being said the knockout itself wasn't legal by any means and it's without a doubt an elbow, although an accidental one. I am mostly on the side of a no contest here. But the event overall was pretty entertaining.

I wanna see more technical punches like against swarmz, uppercut and hooks etc,i feel you have a few styles other than this one you should have ones with ur hands up which you do, im sure u can slip,roll,etc,parry,block,and i reckon you can also stay at mid or close range. I feel you need another warm up before fury,however if you done this and mixed it up against fury i reckon youll do better than everyone thinks at a similar or better level than jake did.

As a boxer myself, I am aware that in the heat of the moment it can be difficult to control yourself at such close range and it can be easier to clip someone with a reckless elbow however these rules are put in place to protect fighters and by ignoring them on such a big stage it sets a bad example to other boxers and boxing promotions so although I do not believe the elbow was intentional I think you should be a no contest to respect the rules and set a good example Edit: Thanks for the likes I’m gonna buy a capri sun with the money

I feel like if the roles are reversed and KSI received an accidental elbow and unfortunately got knocked out we would all be screaming no contest or disqualification for good reason. JJ definitely did it unintentionally.. what happened was after JJ hit the upper cut, Fournier ran straight into him, and the hook intended for Fournier after the upper cut became an elbow to the face... Got to be a no contest, but rematch isn't necessary, since it is pretty straight forward JJ had it in the bag

I've been in the ring several times and I imagine what a boxing fight is like and you really dominated that fight, I don't think you hit him with your elbow on purpose, but unfortunately the rules of any boxing association forbid such punches, even if they were accidental. So yes you would have won if it wasn't for that random hit, and yes the hit was random, but you can't call it a win. I’m still your fan, and I’m waiting for new fights

As someone who (on a small regional scale) fought some Taekwon-Do (the kickbox like kind) tournaments i totaly feel you. In the moment of the fight sometimes you think something happened if the outcome matches what you were trying to do. If it i was like here a potential elbow i totaly get you for truely believing you hit him with your hook. Thats why there are judges and comittees. But if it comes out as "hit with elbow" it probably was. Nothing to cry about. You can tell right from R1 Joe wasn't ready; always on the backfoot, barely trained, thought he was walking into a easy match vs someone with 'less experience' compared to him. The elbow was unintentional (what boxer intentionally cheats?) but a complete blessing for Joe. yep, as a person who has trained in combat sports, i agree with u. Joe did looked dazed from the overhand & body shot. he was trying to cling on to you & kinda lean on towards your right hook. if you were a bit quicker & the punch more outward, or switch to an uppercut, you could've hit him clean in the face or uppercut the jaw (which would be a hella better knockout). it's just unfortunate split second event. u gotta take the no contest to silence the noobs out there & move onto Tommy & Jake.
