I am super curious to where you live and also how much you’re paying for your rent? I live in San Diego and my 1bd/1ba is $1,400 for 600 sq. feet. 5 years ago it was $1,250 but it just keeps going up. I’m actually thinking about moving and so that’s why I ask 😊 I looked in the description and didn’t see where you’re living. I’ll try to scroll the comments. You’ve done a really smart and wonderful job with your space!

I love your studio apartment! I also live in a small studio in London UK and am a Music Teacher! My decor it's a bit retro and a bit vintage . It has a similar layout but two windows overlooking a comunal garden. Thanks for the great ideas on maximising your space and making it feel really homie.

You should make a wooden cover (maybe with a cutting board?) for your kitchen sink! It could help you with counter space when your cooking!

Omg, thank you for adding that tip for her. I have a kitchenette, living in an efficiency, & very little counter space. I only have a single basically farmhouse wide sink, so I would need a fairly wide cutting board

It's refreshing to see a realistic unit; how a person really live. I like how you met the challenges of utilizing every inch of vertical space for storage. And how you created so many living zones, it made your home seem a lot more spacious . The Living room, offices/Classroom, dining, kitchen, bath, and bedroom. Tiny house living!

I love looove this apartment SO much. It’s so cute and has so much character and charm but most of all, is functional too. In 2 weeks I’m moving to a 300sq studio with all of 13” of counter space and it made me cry so much to think about how I could possibly manage. When I was as young as you are, I would have killed to have such a nice place. Everything's new, clean, bright, and fully functional. And you're above ground. And you don't face brick wall. I lived in basement suites, and everything I had was either second hand or from the trash. This place is lovely.

Cool! I am looking at ideas to decorate a tiny studio for myself and my child, so I can save up for a house and keep my child in a good school district, because CA is crazy expensive! Your place is super cute. If you want more counter-space you could make a cutting board that doubles as a sink cover or a stove cover cutting board.

I refuse to believe that is only 200 sq ft, or you are just a goddess at tiny layouts. I’ve been watching small studio apartment tours cause I’m about to move into my first one soon thats 250 sq ft, and it looks like you got more space!

I honestly have no clue! I got it when I was in college because my room was super tiny- I got it on Craigslist for some sort of good deal! Lol

I agree Valerie ! I own a 230 sq ft flat and I know that furniture ( bed plus small sofa ) , bathroom and kitchen , does not match with 200 sq ft apt . Allthough , it is a cosy micro flat !

It’s all relative! To me, it’s really tiny! Living in something smaller would be pretty much impossible for me since I’ve been here almost 3 years. But yes, there are definitely people who live in smaller spaces and make it work!

It’s 268 to be exact! I measured not long before I posted but when I loved in I was told it was around 200! My bed takes up the majority of my apartment, but I wouldn’t have it any other way because sleep is so important to me!

The best studio tour/ space I've ever seen that is so cute and well decorated. I am so happy for you Queen, I can tell your really proud of yourself for your well deserved space, it feels like home to me through the screen and the fact your voice and vibes is so pure and positive makes me smile through these hard times. Thankful for you and this video, I loved it! I fell in love with that small couch!!!!
