I just love that DC always gives writers a go to write standalone stories like with the Black Label books. Good inventive stories at the forefront.

I loved the Worlds' Finest title! Mark Waid always kills it, and the art is fantastic. The book gave me huge nostalgia for the Justice League cartoons for some reason. I loved it too!

That World's Finest and Failsafe is on the top of my "next' buys list. I was really curious about Rogues after seeing it on a shelf in a Books A Million. Was on the fence about that Catwoman book till your video with Bar and it's been inching it's way up my list as well. Thanks for the reviews!!

One by one fantastic books,I´ve really enjoyed them a lot. There´s magic happening when DC let´s these creators do non canon stories. I hope Mark Russel gets to do many more of those satirical works for DC. All right on to part 2.

OMNIDOG!! Another great video and DC is my favorite. That Batman Failsafe is just awesome. Glad you liked it. Catwoman Lonely City is on my TOP 5 for the year so far. If you get the DM version of Lonely City, the dust jacket turns into a poster of all the characters and production designs of the story. Good job. Cheers!

Worlds finest is still going with a volume 2 hardcover coming out soon. I’m guessing when the run is finished they will release a complete omnibus or something like that

The issue that comes after the World’s Finest hardcover, #6, is one of my favorite modern DC single issues. Mora is not the artist but the fill-in artist is great too.

12:59 A couple years ago I did a massive Batman by Morrison reading order, which included their run on JLA plus Tower of Babel (the thick trade collection of JLA book 4 has the last of Morrison and the start of Waid as the lead writer). Really enjoying the current Batman and Detective books

@@OmnidogsVault I have it written down somewhere. It also was an excuse for me to catch up on some random DC events that I hadn't read, so not everything in the list is by Morrison, but everything does, on some level, add context for their run

Jess - Is it possible to list the books you discuess in the description of your videos. I always listen to them but forget one or two books you mentioned then end up having to go.back and find the beginning of the part of the video to hear the name

DC is boring to me now. Tired of Batman and Bat related titles. I like DC Black. Most of the rest of regular DC is just mehhhh. Looking forward to Phantom Stranger Omni though.

@@OmnidogsVault Yeah you mentioned it in the video that you know people are sort of "over" batman. I know it's a cash cow for them. But they have so many cool characters. Why's it always gotta be Bruce and Clark?
