I just read it last month and it is amazing. I loved it so much. I know one BookTuber listened to the audiobook and didn't care for it, so if you can read a physical copy, that would be my rec bc of the narration and POV switches.

Oh my gosh, Regan. I love Katherine Arden’s writing style and the fact that it’s historical fantasy and Russian-inspired is so cool and I love it. The Bear and the Nightingale was one of the first books that got me into reading so much! I’ll forever be grateful for K. Arden and this book! 🥹💙🐻❄️

I can't quite remember if I began watching booktube videos in 2014 or 2015, but I do know you were the third booktuber I watched consistently, and you have been the go-to channel for fantasy recommendations from the get-go, The Fifth Season being one that, as expected, was absolutely great.

Wow, congrats on 10 years! I think I started watching your channel in 2020 or 2021. I have been a fantasy lover my whole life, and was reading adult fantasy in middle school, though i also read (and still read) YA. Over the last decade, I would say some of my faves are: Nightrunner series, Captive Prince trilogy, Shadow of the Fox trilogy, Heaven Official's Blessing, Husky & His White Cat Shizun, Cartographies of Male-Male Desire, Noble Dead saga (though it may have been more than a decade since the last one came out, I am not sure lol).

The Winternight Trilogy is one of my absolute favorites. It is a series I don't see myself ever getting tired of. Also at the tail end of 2022, I listened to the audiobook of The Thief and was sucked right in. I finished the series last year. I adore the main character.

Station Eleven is soooo good. Unfortunately I've read it at the height of quarantine 😭 I've had it for a while and the only thing I remembered about the plot was that there's a traveling Shakespeare company, so I started reading aaaand then we got to the pandemic part...
