I'm so excited to share this list with you of my TOP TEN favourite #artsupplies that I used EVERYDAY as a #mixedmedia #artist Perfect to carry around in a travel art kit, or use at home. I love to layer these up and the ranges of colours you can buy in these supplies are just gorgeous!

I tend to use watercolour paints and never even thought of water soluble crayons, the textures you get with those are stunning. So interesting to see what others like to use 😊

Oooo I miss working with paint! I used to use alot of watercolour paint, and acrylics actually. But somehow I make alot of art on the go so I find it really handy to use these crayons as they are so easy to carry around. I definitely miss painting though and have been thinking about dusting off my lovely watercolour paint set again! Thanks for watching. I love seeing what other people use too 🥰♥️xx

Also just an idea for traveling you can purchase the makeup roll out overnight makeup zipper multiple pouch. They roll up really nice. Clear pouches and inexpensive. Thks for Insight. Great tips.

I have been wanting to try the Holbein pencils- I have a few colors in their watercolor range and love those. Just love the neocolor II as well!

Where are the water brushes from? I’ve not had much luck with them so far as they don’t release enough water

They're just cheap ones from Amazon. With mine I do have to keep pumping the button every few strokes to release more water. Hope this helps x

Hi! I have wanting to buy the A3 Moleskine sketchbook,I love to work on large size,I do mainly colored pencil portraits,I like thicker paper as well,is it thick paper and does it take Colored pencil well?

Hi Julia, yes it's lovely smooth paper, very slightly off white but it's 165gsm so lovely quality and I find it really nice to work with my coloured pencils🥰♥️hope this helps xx

@@wild.soul.sketchbooks yes very helpful! One more question,if you had to choose from the Moleskine and the pith sketchbook,for the best one for colored pencil,which one would it be?

I think the Pith is really good for wet media. It has a very slight tooth to it so it's great for laying up different materials. With pencils you get that sort of granulated effect as it picks up the slight texture. The Moleskine is really smooth. The pencils glide on and you can set a silky smooth look with them. So depending on what you prefer, I would personally go with the Moleskine xx

I prefer a a little texture to my paper,so I think I’ll go with the Pith,I work always with solvent,and with a lot of layers,so that might help somewhat smooth out a bit the texture.:) Once again,thank you,you have helped me out so much,just by answering these questions,God bless.

Yup! Half of my artworks are either Graphite or Charcoal, so kneadable is a must art supply for drawing sketching with any of these 2! This list hasn't changed for the last 5 years,even though I still pput to the test, many different art supplies. For the mediums I use, I'm 100% positive, that these are THE best!
