Glad to know not everyone placed Death in number 1 just because he's new and edgy and cool, then proceeds to meatride him saying his building level feats make him hyperversal

It’s not really how cool quotable or imposing he is. Its what he represents. An ever present primordial force that most all things are designed to fear, and how he is inevitability itself, making him understandably scary. He also fits rather well as being reasonably offended by puss living right wasteful lives and preventing him from taking a cowards way out to get his wish. Plus he kind of honorably accepts his defeat, not in a conventional sense but when puss is no longer afraid of him and helps him realize that his final life is one worth fighting for. Plus the subtle foreshadowing before the reveal is interesting too, like the line “everyone thinks they will be the one to defeat me, but nobody has escaped me yet” and him repeatedly saying “puss in boots laughs in the face of death” indicating how he subtly takes offense to puss’ bold claims. And need I mention how simple but effective his whistle is, or the fact he takes on the form of the big bad wolf, even though there already is a big bad wolf, subtly implying he is somebody else. Not to mention his thrill of the chase, as canines chase cats. There a hundred good reasons why he is such an effective force in the movie

Tai Lung's reason for being a villain makes sense and is really good. Titan is the same as Tai Lung for me. He was a really immature and selfish, and abused his power when he couldn't get what he wanted. Death is kinda creepy and cool at the same time. Every time I forgot about him, I was reminded moments later when I heard his whistle. He wasn't on screen as much as the other villains, but when he was, it was amazing.
