My guess as to why Dumbledore's cup is plastic is because the gem/stone wouldn't support the weight of the metal. Umbridge's wand had the issues with them breaking because of the stone and now has a metal rod going through the middle, if they made the cup out of metal they would probably have to do the same thing.

I wish they would re-make Dumbledore's Cup.

I’ve always struggled with the tripartite cup because I have always wanted it in my collection but the wb version is more accurate in my opinion because the cup is see through and in the movie it looks transparent like it’s made of crystal. But you’re right that because it’s metal that makes it better so I don’t know, I may have to put it on my wish list! I really want Dumbledore’s cup also, but you’re absolutely right, given the price I which it was metal as well! Slug horn’s hourglass is made of metal/resin and glass so I don’t understand why Dumbledore’s cup isn’t made of metal.

My favourite piece from Noble Collection is Bellatrix's dagger, I bought it ages ago and have just now realised its not on their UK website! She is my favourite character and the dagger is incredibly detailed and stunning

Hi Hon. Love this type of video. That little cackle you did when describing the quill nib as a witch's fingernail...OMG I laughed. You reminded me of Yzma when she was turned into a little grey kitten in The Emperors New Groove. I am impressed with the time turner. I wanted to get one but the one in the case looked too chunky and the chain was too short. The one in the movie was so delicate. I may well get this version. I love Sam, We used to trade Disney pins at meet ups and I bought my Noble collection Deathly Hallows necklace and my grey Niffler from her.

I have the Dumbledore's cup and I actually love it. I think if is was made of metal it would be super heavy since is much taller than the Triwizard Cup (which is already so heavy).

I love my Triwizard cup (which you convinced me to drop bills on half a year ago 🧐😂) and I'm glad you did because I'm just now seeing the price is going up in America (no longer available here). Looks lovely next to my dragon figures! I think the accuracy issue is more than made up for by the quality metalwork of the dragons (its beautiful!!) which is why I picked it up. That triwizard cup and diadem are in my list! They look so beautiful! The only thing that stop me from buying the Hogwarts replica was the paint job. It is quite awful compared to its price

Great video - love your top 10 Noble Collection items. Does your Ravenclaw diadem tarnish? I have the one with the claws and it tarnished rather badly. I did not realize it needed to be regularly polished. It’s all polished now, but curious to know if the original version did the same.
