I for one can attest that I was excited about Super Mario Bros. when it was coming out. I can assure you, after seeing it I was left confused and afraid. I am so glad they didn't make a second one. I was happy it did make it to Rifftrax though. At least Bob Hopkins still had Who Framed Roger Rabbit RIP. Also, another good Honorable Mention would have been Death Promise. That one was an ear bleeder for sure.

The guy from Harlem is just about the funniest thing I've ever seen

Not to be that guy, but in the movie they ARE brothers, they just worded it weird. Luigi meant that he never knew his parents as a kid, and thus Mario, who's his brother, had to pull double duty and be a surrogate father as well.

Have you figured out if the rifftrax theme itself is a joke? I mean I think it's terrible and trying to hard. But that maybe the joke. Anywho that's my 2 cents.
