Hi yes totally agree. We in Uk sould ride all year when its dry roads and above 8 degrees ish ACF my bikes and use them all year they dont like standing for long periods of time does them no good love winter rides Pick your days but ride them thats what they are for you all ride safe

I used to do 100 mile trips in the winter. Worst I had was arriving home with a sheet of ice covering the front of my jacket from freezing fog. Back then heated grips did not exist so used silk liners, gloves and waxed cotton over-mits. Had to tape some 120 grit wet and dry to the throttle grip to stop it slipping through the over-mits.

Nice video mate! One tip I'd like to add from personal experience is to wear a scarf or something warm around your neck, as when the cold air gets in through the gap it really makes you feel cold. Then you become rigid and stiff which affects breaking time and general riding safety

Totally agree yep use the bike all time round year and be cautious. My only advice would be clean the bike after the journey once it has cooled down. In this way less change of any water getting into st,motor/ alternator . Do not put bike away wet either.

All sound advice , but if people need to be told these things, perhaps they shouldn't be allowed outdoors on their own, let alone on a bike. I'm an all year round biker, too. I don't have to commute because I'm retired, but I do use my GS550 for everyday transport, in preference to a car. In my experience, WD40 is your bike's best friend in the winter. I keep everything coated in it (except for brakes and tyres), and it preserves the bike while allowing you to use it.

Get an External thermometer/ Weather station for about £15(?), I've had so many people have "incidents" thinking they'll be fine over the years. Look at it before you start!
