when will people realize that Go Nagai wasn't involved with the Getter Robo series other than pitching the concept, the REAL maker of the series is Ken Ishikawa who did literally everything else, it IS considered a part of his universe's family but that's more because the authors were good friends.

One thing that amazes me of Go Nagai mangas is that despite how crazy things can get, there is always somehow realistic consequences for the actions. That must be the reason to why so much of them end in a fucking appocalypse

23's a good song but it's not an anime opening, it's the Robot Army vs Dragonsauras movie. 16's a parody of Getter Robo but it's a good injoke in Nadesico. 6 was made by the Sailor Moon team after their show ended, basically it followed their trope. Granted my first exposure to Nagai-san's work was watered-down versions of his classic mecha series ("Tranzor Z" & "Force Five" anyone?), but later on I realized how kick-@$$ his stuff is! Even his weakest series (like, oh, say, his fanservice "Cutie Honey" & "Shameless School" comes to mind) are eminently watchable.

You're REALLY pushing it with some of these, particularly the Getter Robo ones. Getter Robo is really Ken Ishikawa's creation, Nagai's main credit to that series is that Getter's design was based on some earlier Mazinger concept art. Nagai definitely had no involvement with the later stuff like Shin Getter Robo or Neo vs Shin, so they probably shouldn't be on this list.

Grendizer and Mazinkaiser have the best songs. Mazinger Z opening song is also a great one, but the original version doesn't sound as neat as subsequent re-recordings.

I think SKL’s op should’ve been placed higher, also Dororon Enma-kun’s TV anime opening and Devilman no Uta should’ve been in the list. On a side note, I think you placed Super Robot Girls too low, but I may be biased about that opening since it was made by the legendary ARM himself.
