By many measures it was earned Ben! You and Austin of C. Risner Cutlery literally raised the bar and expectations of modern slip joints - now about that symmetrical long pull nail nick on the MJ 😉...peace and Happy New Year.

Thanks Jesus! And like I said in the vid, stay tuned for some serious giveaways in the coming year - maybe even a Jack 🐺 for the high-end knife ;-)...though not the MJ...never...ever...ever haha.

Also I have that very same WMK exclusive cormorant brand new in box I would trade or sell to someone. I bought it for my Dad but he's a slip joint guy so I bought a tactile Bexar for him but I still have the cormorant and I'm not going to use it because I already have the frag/20cv model and that's pretty much my carry knife most of the time.

I just picked up a Casstrom no 10. Based purely on length, I may have preferred the Lars

The #10 looks more comfortable in hand than the Lars, but in practical outdoor use, I did prefer that bit of added length. In the end, I made the decision based on the DBK boys' coverage of both :-). Thanks for checking this out!

Bro I really enjoyed this one. Found myself wishing ya had more categories Always enjoy hearing your thoughts and experiences with your knives. Have yet to get into slip joints. Tried a bunch and they just aren’t my style. Have heard nothing but great things about Jack Wolf Both as a quality designer and person behind the company. Hard to believe you’re not already over 1k but I know you will be there soon.

Definitely noted - I'll put more time/organization into it for 2023..I literally had 2 hours to do this one from soup to nuts before we left town 😊. As always, thanks for checking it out - and I'm glad it wasn't a waste of time. BTW, Jack 🐺's really are that good. 👊

Would you be interested in selling your Ohio River Jack? I'm not a slip joint guy at all but I'm in love with the fact it's full titanium with that awesome Jigged pattern texture like they do on the old bone slip joints.
