@Juice hey, a suggestion for survival is armor, or rather full protection armor. i must say that when i first started playing the game, i thought that the portection iv enchantment was rather useless in comparisson to blast protection, fire protection and projectile protection... but later on, i actually looked into it, into how the protection enchantments work in minecraft. hope this helps :) so ontop of the armor's base damage reduction (that would be by just taking damage when wearing base unenchanted armor) the protection enchantments negate added damage. projectile protection: damage from projectiles (arrows, and shulker pellets for example) fire protection: damage from hot things (lava, fire and magma blocks for example) blast protection: damage from explosions (creepers, charged creepers, withers, beds in the nether/end, end crystal explosions, etc) these are the "specific" protections you could say, they reduce damage only in their specific categories but by a pretty decent amount. the formula for this amount of (specific) negated damage would be: (8 x enchantment level) % of the total base damage that is inflicted. full set of one type of protection iv armor --> 128% coverage on that damage source and not others (more on this later) (ontop of base armor coverage) protection enchantment works a bit differently... it operates in all fields, contributing to fire, blast and projectile protection, (but in lower amounts) and also reducing generic damage taken from mobs and also fall damage and some other sources. the formula for the generic protection is (4 x enchantment level) % of the total base damage that is inflicted (keep in mind that it works for all fields) full set of protection iv armor --> 64% overall damage coverage (on top of base armor coverage) so say you have a full set of projectile protection iv, that would mean that you take the sum of all the levels of projectile protection, which would be 16, and multiply it by 8, which would be 128. thing is tho, that would be 128%, which would mean that you negate more than the actual amount of damage that is applied, which is not the case because there is an ingame cap at 80%, meaning you can use a combination of enchantments that adds to no more than 80% of protection since more than that would just be a waste really. therefore, you can easily negate alot of damage (especially from mobs) just by wearing full protection iv set and still be quite protected to the other damage sources. if you'd want further (and more specific) protection (at a cost of a bit of the generic protection), you could then just make a single piece of armor that has that protection type that you want to focus on ---> for example: more protection against explosions: 3 pieces protection iv, 1 piece blast protection iv more protection against fire: 3 pieces protection iv, 1 piece fire protection iv more protection agian projectiles: 3 pieces protection iv, 1 piece projectile protection iv i think this summarizes the whole protection(s) enchantments lol hope it makes sense and is of use to you and whoever reads this.

I love hardcore and I understand when other people play it too it’s bc there is a love for the game that is on another level and we all accept the challenge. Fact is every world gets lost at some point and that a metaphor for life or something. Anyways really great run altogether and was my first time hearing about this particular challenge which made me even more impressed with how far you made it!

It’d be cool if you did a world tour where you used a modified resource pack to only see all your birch logs and thus all the roots of the tree. Might be cool You could probably just use an xray pack and replace the invisible birch wood with regular birch resource pack.
