Once our beloved father Nelson Mandela said that " Ethiopia always has a special place in my imagination and the prospect of visiting Ethiopia attracted me more strongly than a trip to France, England, and America combined. I felt I would be visiting my own genesis, unearthing the roots of what made me an African ". Welcome to Ethiopia 💚💛❤️ Bro ! .

Thank you, I stayed at the Chelelek Al-Sam Tower in the Mexico area of Addis. And yes it was a nice place, with a bank, cafe and some shops on the 1st floor.

So, let me start from the street food... I never had one of those sandwiches fresh potato chips in a bun that's not Ethiopian food. The other one you said you don't know the name is called Sambusa and it's like Jamaican Patty or like Empanada not sure if you know any of these. But it's fried dough and traditionally they put lentils and jalapeno in it yours can be different. One thing I noticed you were wearing dress shoes with Jeans and you probably see a lot of people like that. I hope you don't have to do a lot of walking there especially in a day time it can be very uncomfortable.

Ok, it may not have been Ethiopian food but I bought it from some Ethiopians and it was good. As far as me wearing dress shoes, when I was at Friendship park it was comfortable. Kind of an odd observation or take away from my video, but thanks for watching.

@@dmosill my bad man, the point I was trying to cross was you are actually able to match your outfit with the locals. That was one of my biggest problems there, I am a short and tshirt guy with flip flop or tennis shoes. I was born and raised there but lived in states more than half of my life and that dress codes are one of the ways they identify people are not from there.

@@dmosill I definitely have to try that sandwich next time I go there.

@@abiyamberber8773 I did have a skull cap on, I think that said "not a local" lol. But that was probably the only day I might have blended in, none of my other close I wore looked anything close to being local in my opinion, which may be why a lot of people were staring at me. I look forward to visiting again, I hope you do as well!!
