Third day of our trip to Lorestan we made it to Azna glacier at Ashtrankoh, known as the Iranian Alps and guess what , this glacier has a snow tunel beneath and we are going to pay a visit so please join me and observe this miracle of nature.
Azna snow tunnel is one of the sights of Azna city and one of the most beautiful tourist attractions of Lorestan province. This tunnel with a width of 10 meters and a height of 3 meters is created due to the accumulation of snow and ice in the winter season and their melting in the spring and summer seasons. This interesting and surprising phenomenon causes the formation of a beautiful tunnel-like snow corridor at the bottom of the canyon. روز سوم سفرمون به لرستان به تونل برفی ازنا در شهرستان ازنا رسیدیم. این تونل به‌صورت طبیعی در برف و یخ‌های دامنهٔ اشترانکوه (آلپ ایران ) در منطقهٔ کمندان به‌ وجود اومده وطول اون بالغ بر ۸۰۰ متر و ارتفاعش از کف تونل تا سقف بین ۵٫۲ تا ۳ متره. فقط در فصل‌های بهار و تابستان می‌تونید از این تونل بازدید کنید ودر فصل زمستان هم مکانی بسیار جذاب برای کوه نوردیه. برای رسیدن به این تونل باید تا روستای کمندان با اتومبیل رفت و حدوداً دو ساعت هم پیاده‌ روی داره.
