Happy #WorldTourismday. Today I’ll share with you a completely different side of Rajasthan. Imagine Cherrapunji like rain or Scotland like greenery.
⠀
Some 165 km away from #Udaipur lies #Banswara in southern Rajasthan, which is popularly known as the Cherrapunji of Rajasthan since it receives the highest rainfall in the state and it is also the greenest City. However, I loved its other name even more, which is the 'City of Hundred Islands', due to the presence of over a hundred islands on the Mahi River named "Chachakota" where all the islands are located. It is a tribal area and a completely offbeat destination.
In this video, you’ll find things to do in Banswara.
• Intro - My Trip to Rajasthan
• Recap of Ep 01 - things to do in Udaipur
• Journey
• Kewade ki Naal Tea stall
• Midway snack point
• Chacha Kota
• Kalpavriksha
• Kagdi Pick up point - ziplining & lake
• Kedaliya waterfall
• Jaisamand Lake and Roothi Rani ka Mahal
