you really held it together i feel like for losing your bag, not to sound materialistic but every time i fly when i part with my bag it immiedietly triggers me and my anxiety. i believe, when you are traveling to somewhere completely new, your items are your familiarity and that ownership also feels as if its part your identity.(i mean specifically while traveling somewhere new, not in general.) losing that and also not being comfortable with your surroundings is exactly why someone with social anxiety would feel triggered, uncomfortable, nervous, isolated, and emotional. thanks for sharing those feelings, and even the way you shared them. waiting a few days is a good example to show that anxiety is a "fight or flight" response and when you're in that head space it is hard to reason, but you showed exactly how it is. its a horrible feeling, but it does get better. when you come out of it you are able to come to terms with the fact that everything will be okay!!! I went to Breckinridge a couple years ago and I never skied in my life! So I went with my boyfriends family for a couple days and my first day skiing I fell and tore my MCL 😂 so I don’t blame you for not wanting to ski or snowboard! Lol beautiful place though 😍
