My Ultimate Dream Garage / Shop Build (Part 5)

Today I finish up the front room in the warehouse pluming the bathroom and shower. Then I texture all the walls, install 6 inch trim around the whole room and finish it off by painting the whole place white! Along with installing a nest thermostat and a bunch of other tedious stuff.

Man i’m not sure how old you are, but it seems like we’re around the same age (23). I just wanna say it’s pretty badass and inspirational to see someone so young doing something like this. Very motivating, keep up the great work! Can’t wait for the next vid 🤝🏼

Any videos of the process to get things the way you want them are great I’ve just been sorting my garage out with a work bench and moving things around to make room for working on my bike so keep them coming 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

You need some kind of binder in the center of your concrete like chicken wire attached to the surface below it to stop your pour from cracking later. Concrete is very strong if it's compressed from the top but doesn't have very much tensile strength if it experiences forces from the sides.....chicken wire will help it hold together

You don’t need it for that small of a area if his shower was bigger then yes

Thanks man, there was definitely a bunch of little mess ups that I didn’t film. like placing the trim to tight on the door frame and the door wouldn’t close.

The plan is to buy, renovate, use for 6 months, then rent it out. And repeat in the next one. Then in 10 years have like 30 rentals
