Honestly when Lucy says you’re doing really well she is absolutely right Rob! So hard to understand ‘feel’ but when you do it’s in every pace and every movement! Fabulous teaching too Lucy definitely not an easy job teaching your partner 😂💪🏻

Absolutely brilliant mate. Am in exactly the same boat at the moment 35 years old never rode a horse in my life but currently having lessons to purely go hunting. It’s harder than it looks. Keep at it mate hopefully see you on the hunting field one day

Oh my goodness, this video made my little heart so happy. He did so well, and Zack is such a sweet and good boy!! I cannot get over how well his rising trot is for someone who is new to riding... that takes many people MONTHS to "get"! Absolutely loved this from start to finish, Lucy.

I love that Rob is riding!! I think it's awesome that he's even trying it, and that he's progressed as much as he has...Good for him!!! Rob, seriously, you spend time riding, and practicing, and you're going to end up being a good rider. You have a very natural seat on a horse, and soft hands like Lucy said. Until someone gets on a horse, and really tries riding, they have no idea how much work is involved in someone becoming a capable rider, and capable of working with horses in general. Years of work goes into a rider becoming as good as Lucy, and Meg, etc...Lucy, Rob is a keeper. Hanging out at the barn with you, and as handsome as he is. I can't stop smiling for you. Lol.

Wahoo!! In my old territory, Chobham. No idea if it is still there but there was a great pub called The Running Mare. Congrats Rob. You did great! Lucy did an amazing job teaching unlike me with my husband. I did get very frustrated at times, hence really didn't work out for him. The piesta de la resistance (sp?) was when he did this amazing pirouette on a former top class Dressage horse that I usually rode and didn't know what he was doing.

Anyone else surprised? I thought rob was “the landlord” and Zac “the landlords horse” 😂
