My Unexpected Routine Breast Cancer Mammogram Results

I went to my routine mammogram screening this year wondering what the point was. I know I'm fine and they only check the well-behaved breast, so why keep going every year? I had discounted the whole thing until the letter landed on my doormat. I almost didn't even open it as I knew it would just say that I was fine.
Except that it didn't say that at all.

Glad all is well Louisa. I appreciated this video. I went through breast cancer at the same time you did. I have the same thoughts in the back of my mind, it helps to hear someone articulate them.

Yes I think these worries follow us all around! we wouldn't be human if it didn't all haunt us a little right? Some days I'm great. Other days Im convinced it's all back again! Its a constant rollercoaster!

Hey, you're back!!! So glad to see from you again after so long. I'm in Fleet near(ish) to Basingstoke, and lockdown has eased, slightly, though hopefully by June the world will be back to normal! Your positivity was always enlightening to me, and the fact you're able to still have that positivity despite the hell you've been through

@@LouisaGordon I was diagnosed in May 2019 with stage 1 hers 2 positive , I’m all done now , my hair is grown back. I too pray and am hopeful with every mammo. May I ask you what kind of cancer were you diagnosed with😊

I am soooooo happy to hear your good news. When you spoke about the gun, I laughed but you are right. I love the way you speak. I now live in England, and I will have mammogram soon. In this country that is what they do. I hope all will be ok. I always remember you. Your hair looks great. Best

@@LouisaGordon I’ve got a mammogram on Monday. My first since my lumpectomy/mammoplasty last April. I’m due to have my other boob reduced in March. Just had #17 of herceptin and pertuzimab! One more round to go! Yay!

So pleased Louisa - I found your videos so helpful when I was going through chemotherapy. Can I ask what you take to help reduce the her2 receptors .

Hi Anna! I'm so glad you found my videos helpful! Yes of course, I read in 'Heal Breast Cancer Naturally' br Dr Veronique Desaulniers that curcumin (turmeric) and EGCC from green tea inhibits HER2 breast cancer cells! Matcha tea 137 times more EGCC in it then regular green tea so I add it to my morning oats and to my lunch time smoothie :-) I also have curcumin regularly

Oh I just saw this update! I replied to an older comment! Well done getting it checked out so fast! what will happen now? What does that mean? At least it was not cancer as you had probably feared straight away, phew!

Oh love. I'm sorry you are going through this. I just had a brand new DNA test by a company by signatera. It's so new my insurance won't cover it. I just got the results and its a clear. It can give two years of peace of mind. Look into it. Great news!!!!
