@@myuhninhnin the email should’ve specify who to contact. You have to act swiftly because it expires after a certain amount of days. It wouldn’t hurt to go to the job location as well.

Yes, I found out that if you accept a position then you have to cancel the other. However, I only had to get my fingerprints done one time so far

how do you cancel a postion i got a cca spot but did it before didnt want it. So going thru process for MHA which i really want been waiting now for awhile Jan 13th

@@kylelee618 I believe you go onto your candidate profile and decline the position then accept the new position you’re interested in. When I switched it wouldn’t allow me to accept the new position until I declined the other one. I can’t remember the exact tab but try job opportunities then click on my applications. It may be there

Keep re-applying happened to me as well. I kept re-applying and BOOM 💥 finally received notification for orientation & training. Also, you might want to consider a post office that needs more CCA’s.

So I just checked my email. I believe I accepted on 12/6 and they sent the fingerprint email on 12/8

​@@1127janice Did the email about the offer have a person to contact for fingerprinting? I would email that person for them to get back to you. I would also call the number on the letter as well and leave a voice message. They may still be processing everything. I've noticed that everyone's process can be slightly different with timing.

Hey, not sure how they do it in New Jersey but here in Florida if you receive multiple offers from different locations and you have already accepted one... essentially if you accept another it would push your hiring process by like a week or two but the change of location can be done.

@@felishaf1273 so by that I mean for the first one you already if you have already taken your fingerprints and you’re waiting for that orientation email then once you accept the 2nd offer for a different location/position then you would have to take your fingerprints again and then wait again for that orientation email. And if you chose a different location then yes that will change.

I have been at my office since late August and I will be getting my own route and from what my supervisor told me, I’ll be converted to regular within 5-6 months because we are so short staffed right now.

Lol I hated waiting too! However, try and have patience because the process can be a bit tedious. I believe I got my Orientation invite about 2-3 weeks after fingerprinting. Congratulations on starting the process! 😊

I got an email about getting my fingerprints done at a location with the dates and times. They will set the appointment up for you. Beforehand I was wondering the same thing. So I emailed the person that was on the offer letter to contact about the fingerprints. I'm not sure if my email to him did anything but the very next morning I got the appointment email. So I assume they will contact you.

Depending on the position, but for me applying for PSE position, they are supposed to email you offering you the job. You either accept or decline, then they send you email saying you have to get fingerprinted and then fill out the NACI background check with 5 years of detailed info of past addresses and jobs. I’m at this stage now, I applied August 1st and on the 18th got the offer email and then fingerprints same day and background on the computer. The man there said I have to wait for the manager to call to have a sit down interview explaining the job, and when the background clears I’ll get my orientation date. It could be weeks or months at this point he said, I’m still waiting too, hope this helps.

Give it some time. They may respond within a few weeks. I think being a veteran is a plus because they may accept you over everyone else. I’m not sure if that’s correct but I heard veterans have more of an upper hand than regular civilians

It may just be the order of which your location is going. When I applied I got a background check and then the exam right after. Try and keep track of all the emails because they can easily be missed. Check your spam accounts as well. I think sometimes the order of the process can be a little mixed up. Under you offer letter there should be a pdf . Open it up and somewhere in there it should say to contact email to schedule finger print .

I’m in Nv too. They will call you to set up the appointment for fingerprints, and they tell you what location to go to. It’s on sunset and paradise. But wait till they call you.

Im in NV too i actually called so many people and finally found someone that helped me set up my fingerprinting appointment.

Thank you. I did end up switching to the closest location. However, I haven’t heard anything about the next step as of yet. I’m a little worried. Some told me that it could take a while. I did email the rep on the fingerprint email and she advised me that it could take a few weeks to hear something. It’s different in different states because I stay in Georgia & I received my naci email the same day as my offer letter & I did my fingerprinting 2 days after my offer letter

I’m not really sure how it goes. I think they ask for anything within 5-7 years. Honestly, I think you still have a chance. Nothing wrong with trying because you never know. I think they’re looking for things like license suspension, DUI’s reckless driving...but again I’m not sure. Hopefully they’ll contact you. I remember someone in my orientation saying they had a ticket for a red light and they still got through.

I've heard that sometimes if you don't hear anything it could be that the jobs were already filled. However, it could just be a long process before they reach out to you. Hang in there. Try to keep checking for other job positions they post as well. It's sort of like first come first served. So if several people applied for the same position as you they may have only contacted a certain amount back. The grade of your assessment matters as well. Keep applying and have patience because it can be a loooong process when applying for post office. 😊
