EDIT: my placement order is incorrect, put Silas down before Elowyn Thanks to the comment made in the comments section for calling out the correct way invig buff works: buffee needs to be placed down before invig buffer
Quick guide on mechanic explanation, team comp I used, and showcasing the run for how I used a piercer comp (plus Elowyn and Setram) to achieve SSS on the Lord of Styx, Immortal Codex boss.
Substitutes also explained for replacing a couple units

Nice video maybe pause bit more on gear on important stats like attack speed and rage regen. I can’t get past B myself with most of same champs because my Setram isn’t ready for 4th shield wondering if it’s my attack speed or rage regen is lacking

@@jcor-laura5450 i will take note of that for future videos, thanks for the feedback! Usually id show the stats of each piece of gear but forgot to do that since i was trying to make to video quick and simple. I also forgot to show pantheon stats because people tend to overlook the stats of that making a significant impact as well….

Having watched this I realise why I still only E on this codex. I don't have strong enough gear and don't have anyone to do enough damage. Been playing for 3 months.

@@ebony_shogun-7796 it will get better with time as you get more heroes and better gear as you farm. This boss used to be my biggest struggle for the longest time too! I couldnt even break the first shield for a long time believe it or not! When you can complete the shard summon for Helga she will be a HUGE help for breaking the shields!

Lucius isnt great for this content, but if he were to be used, he could be used in place of Silas as the dps

If you were to use him in place of Silas, I’d also replace Elowyn with Laya instead if you happen to have her as well. Otherwise, there’s not a whole lot that Lucius can do well on this boss :(

I wasn't aware invig works like that. I have been under the impression the buffee has to be in place before the buffer.

@@timosarkkinen6610 i was under the impression that the invig buffer just needed to be present, but you are correct, i tested that just now to confirm and yes the buffee needs to be present before the invig buffer. Thanks for catching that and calling it out, i learned something new from it and will be getting better placements down now haha (and hopefully less mistakes moving forward)
