I bought a Victorinox Ranger when I was in Zürich last year. It's been a useful tool to have around. You're damn right about the scissors, by the way. You expect them to suck based on size alone, but they just don't! The metal file also files metal quite well. The blades are kinda soft. They don't keep an edge for too long. But they're also quick to touch up.

You have no idea how much this means. Super grateful you took the time to watch and give me feedback. As I said you were my number one inspiration to go ahead and start the channel. I'm a huge fan and I appreciate that you took the time. ❤️

you have the scissors in your SwissCard Lite in upside down. They snap in when you put them in correctly with the lever on the up position. They were designed like that to snap in place and hold

You're right. Thanks for the tip. I learned years ago that both sides kind of work so honestly out of laziness I just stick it in there 🙂. I pay more attention to the blade orientation since it has a dimple and a logo that reminds me it's upside down. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

When I was 8 or so my dad got me the cybertool L cause I was always fascinated with his one, I still have it oc I use it sometimes but it’s to bulky to take everywhere. Also my dad just gave me the Alpaka hub pouch which would have bought probably but he said he got it for free and didn’t need it. I‘m still not sure if I should use it as my wallet or not. I would probably use a slim wallet if didn’t have to carry coins a lot (with the Swiss card oc). I’m not sure if I should get the swisscard or something like the rambler or mini champ for my pouch/wallet. I’ll definitely get a normal ish sized pen and probably a flashlight. I’ve also thought about getting a spyderco honeybee or grasshopper which is really scratching the dumbass knife laws in Germany but at the same time the victorinox blade would probably be enough. Nice vid as always ❤

Thanks for the comment as always :-) - The cybertool is great but the large one is indeed too bulky for most EDC setups - The hub pouch makes a very good wallet and allows you to free up your pocket by putting your multitool and flashlight for instance in it but you'll need to get used to a thicker wallet - To me a slim wallet equals Swiss card and you know how I feel about it 🙂 - If you go the route of a small multitool I'd go for the Midnight Manager, has the screwdriver of the rambler but the light and pen. The minichamp is mostly useless in my opinion - I find a multitool to be more than enough for most blade uses. I might give knives a try but I think especially in Europe a non locking multitool blade, even a small one, should take care of most of your needs Let me know what you decide on and good luck.

Great collection and good video! Liked and subscribed! If you haven't yet check out the Explorer and either the Pioneer X or Farmer X Alox scale models.

Thanks a lot! You made my day. I like the Pioneer and prefer it to the Farmer since scissors beat saw for me. I find Alox to be super attractive and the slimness would be a plus BUT that toothpick is too useful for me to lose. But if I were to ever go Alox it would be the Pioneer or Bantam.

@@AboutThings_byTarif Bantam looks so sleek so I get that. The Farmer and Pioneer X both have the scissors. The pioneer x is a 3 layer the Farmer X is 4. A cool thing about the Alox is that the blade and pry tool are beefier and the back spring is a lot stronger.

I didn't know that the tools are made any different with Alox. I'll definitely consider it with my next knife. Thanks for the info.
