okay naaaaah as a former league player (ive been clean for years and my life has never been better) I have to interject here - League is a LOT of things but it is NOT a pay-to-win game. It's extremely easy to unlock different champions, and there's a rotation of free champions so you can even try them before you spend your currency on them. Skins are generally reasonably easy to acquire as well - in fact, considering skins and other cosmetics are the ONLY ways that the game makes money, I'd say its VERY easy to get them. they're acquired through lootboxes but you can also buy all of them directly, so it doesn't force you to gamble like a gacha game. Fuck that game, it poisoned my life, but I will not let the monetization be slandered when it's actually one of the most fair and non-manipulative I've seen in most videogames, next to Warframe and some others. League's monetization should be an example for free-to-play games to follow.
