All ayurvedic students are learning same subjects as allopathic except biochemistry.. we have pharmacology.. we have to study modern subjects too with ayurvedic subjects .. then why we can't do surery .. even we have pg in surgery too .. we are founders of surgery everything is written clearly in sushrutha samhitha ... Then Why we cant attend surgery .. tell us .....

You have raised and answered query very rightly, keeping safe the very basic interests of ayurveda as a system. I am performing Eye Surgeries since 2006 after doing BAMS, MS in Shalakya (Eye, ENT Dentistry) - Eye - developed in ophthalmology as my niche, to provide best possible eye care. Side by side able to perform a decent No Anaesthesia Phaco emulsification Cataract surgery bring me satisfaction and some bread and butter for living. At the same time able to provide better integrated answers for Diabetic Retinopathy, Optic Nerve diseases, Chronic Eye Allergies, Dry Eye, Recurrent Uveitis, Myopia of all nature. This adds value to diagnosis and treatment and decreases overall burden on the medical system. I understand training is very crucial part, at the same time, understanding the = and - of both pathies and provide a integrated solution would be right to save patients interest.

I completely agree. Audit allopathic surgeons ka bhi hona chaie. Bcz u cant do mbbs and be a careless surgeon and dust it off your shoulder only bcz you are mbbs. Dr Soin is a wise human being and mature enough to understand the initiative. Rest might just be insecure ones who neither do their work sincerely nor want anybody else to work and progress.

Often these "Allopathy doctors" who protest aginst these decisions are some young and unwise mbbs students often from a small and new college. They think very high of themselves (unwisely so) and speak stuff. Experienced pratitioners and students from bigger colleges who are more capable of critical thinking, give more wisdom filled opinions like this.
