Hi Jagmeet!This is the water color technique called Gradient wash . All you have to do is start with full color (color with very less water) on one end and dilute the color until the paint is nearly gone by keep on moving the brush horizontally to another end.Make any color light just by adding water too much but not by adding white color. Thats a watercolor paper. Chart paper will not suit for watercolor. (Only a delicate touch with watercolor works). If you want to do it on chart paper better go for crayons and sketch pens.

Those are all regular basic colours like red green orange pink yellow brown black.Just add more water while colouring to make the colour bright or pale..I used Dom's brush pen colours to fill the pictures with the help of water brush pen
