If you use the SEL selections on the master outputs you can set separate volumes for each output (A1 for yourself, B2 for stream etc). So for example click on SEL for A1 & set the faders to whatever volume you like to hear all your audio at, then click on SEL for B2 and set the audio faders to the volumes you would like the stream to hear the audio at. This would allow you to hear the audio as loud/quiet as you would like without it affecting the stream levels. Select SEL A1 to alter your volumes then if you need to raise lower the stream volumes use SEL for B2. Also when you showed your cable for spotify in voicemeeter your VB Cable was showing up as Voicemeeter AUX Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable). The VAIO/AUX/VAIO3 channels never show up in your hardware inputs, only your physical inputs or virtual cables will show there.

Panduh92 Thanks man! I forgot to mention the Master selection area. I usually boost it to hear music or my friends better. Also thanks for the head up on the VB audio cable as well.

I was wondering If i might be able to steal some help from you on this (i joined your server but could not see anywhere to request help, and i didn't want to DM anyone as too annoy anyone) hoping maybe a sharescreen or something to help me as I am finding it hard to explain! :P I am really struggling with this and trying to get it all to link to Streamlabs OBS. Managed to sort the mic, but whenever i go to test my stream the audio sounds echo. Plus nothing seems to play apart from my voice and general desktop. I am going crazy. Thank you!

Well, your video helped me out a bit, but i'm a bit confused on the Whole B1-3 setup? I'm using a blue yeti and have my headphones plugged into there for the audio monitoring (and just use them for regular audio out). I've gotten as far as getting the audio from Voice meter into OBS but not sure how to split it so I can still hear it but a stream wouldnt't.

What do you do against the delay? For example i want to play Music from my Piano (Midi-Piano VST) and it has such an annoying delay that i can't play straight :D Whould u send the sound over VB-Cable?
@EagerEntertainment
@EagerEntertainment 4 жыл бұрын
Marvin H-Man Music if you want go into the top right where it says menu you should be able to go to system settings. I’m there look for a sample rate option. Lower the sample rate to adjust your delay. If it’s not I’m sure settings it will be in one if the settings boxes under the menu

Question: when I set my mic to B1, why can I hear myself? My default playback is my VM Aux, default recording is my mic, I've messed with the Microsoft sound settings, like you did in this video, but for some reason I can hear myself when sending my mic to my B1, which should be my Discord. When I send it to B2 and use Discord through my Aux, I can't hear myself but there's a delay. Any help is appreciated.

For some reason, audio, in your case labeled "music" is not being recognized in voicemeeter or OBS, when i speak the volume bar goes up, when there is music playing on my computer, nothing shows up on the program. Any help would be appreciated!
@EagerEntertainment
@EagerEntertainment 5 жыл бұрын
Voltrox so for music at the time I was using Virtual audio cable. I now use VIAO 3 for my music. If you saw in the video I went into my sound setting and went to my Spotify sounds settings and changed the output. This was so I could separate my desktop audio from my music audio on certain applications. If I wasn’t able to explain it very well here you’re more then welcome to join my discord and shoot me a message. I’d be happy to get in a call and show you exactly how I have it setup!

Why does my audio (when using VoiceMeeter Input) sound bad compared to my natural headset quality? Even when watching your youtube vid, it sounds really bad compared to my headset, why is that? (It's not robotic, just the quality sounds worse when I'm using voicemeeter input as an input)
@EagerEntertainment
@EagerEntertainment 4 жыл бұрын
In the top right you’ll see my hardware out. Next to that ya a number. That number says 48000mhz I believe. You can open the menu and go to system settings to change that frequency. You’ll want to use 44.1 or 48 thousand as that’s pretty standard. Then go to your windows search bar and type change system sounds. Go to the playback tab and find your headset. Right click go to properties than advanced and make sure the frequency matches the one on voice meter. If you still have issues please feel free to message me in discord and I can jump in a call to help you out.

@intaro
@intaro 5 жыл бұрын
In some situations its useful. I use Audio technica MX40s, if i jsut have them on I can't hear myself and will either be screaming into my mic to people or will disturb those around me because i'm being loud. by having the audio loop into the headset it gives you the recollection that you are loud enough. If its delayed that is the biggest issue you would face because it would cause you to stutter. Its not for everyone (more based on surroundings, situation, and headphones)
