Seeing Brendan Frazier up there holding that award was one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever watched. He’s such a nice guy, and a brilliant actor. He worked so hard, and it paid off. He deserves all the cookies, drinks, hugs and high fives along with that Oscar, too.

Tbh seeing whiplash's ending in here knowing its suppose to represent corruption feels wrong but the clips this guy edits in feels uplifting

That's the really cool thing about whiplash. It can be interpreted very differently depending on how you look at it. Either you see Neiman becoming one of the greats through blood, sweat, and tears or you see him as a drumming addict who has cut off everyone from his life for the validation of Fletcher. Neither one of the interpretations are wrong, it's just a true testament to how good the movie is in its ability to present two sides.

here's the thing: IT'S HIS CHOICE! He chose drumming over everyone else and HE SHOULD NOT be shamed for that! IT was HIS decision and I found it uplifting. It doesn't matter what other's think of you, what matters is that you do what makes you happy, and drumming made him happier than those around him, and honestly, I DON'T BLAME HIM. People, even those that care about you, can become obstacles to your goals, depending on your goals.

But that’s for dorks with degrees, I’m satisfied with the ending as it is, leaves room for interpretation :) But yea, overdose is definitely the most likely outcome

This is so uplifting, this edit includes some of the best movies I've ever seen, especially my favorites as Interstellar, Whiplash, Ubroken, Rocky saga, and Kung Fu-Panda 2. I don't know how this could be more perfect, it's also a reminder about how good the Oscars were in 2022.

i come back to this video at least once a month, but closer to every week. this week it hit especially hard after Carl Weathers died. i struggle with self-harm and depression. i'm trying to stop but it's so hard. i've struggled with this for years, and i don't talk to anybody about it. i've gotten to the point of where i can be in my room, dying inside, and i can't cry. i will literally be trying to cry, and i can't. somehow, i can't explain it, but somehow, this video helps me. it's almost a "yeah, you've been strong for a long time, and i know you're hurting, but just stay strong 1 more week." i know this sounds like some internet bs, but i genuinely want to thank you. i know you probably wont see it, but thank you for this, its one of the reasons im still good today. hopefully i can eventually edit this comment from the good side of all of this, just not today. thanks again

This song reminds me of my brother who died. He really liked him. He died of pancreatic cancer. The first time I got over it, but the second time I don't.remember that he told me to play this song and it was the last thing I heard is his life and Every time I listen to it I remember him, he taught me that everything can be achieved with effort..

I just love how in the start all the scenes were about movies. How our fantastical heroes can go through the most difficult things in life and be brave. But by the end, most of the clips are of real people, real heroes who are just like you and I . And they never gave up.
