What a perfect send off to the series. Yes the song is Cell singing about his life, but it's also clearly about the series as a whole. There were jokes and episodes they regret, but not nearly enough to mention. They did whatever they had to do, no matter what, to get episodes out, without exception. There were even times where they bit off more than they could chew with some of the edits and ambition for the series, resulting in it taking longer and longer. But through it all no matter the doubts, they chewed them up and spit the episode right out. And the record will always show that they did DBZ THEIR way.

I’m listening this back in light of Akira Toriyama’s passing, and I can’t help but feel nothing but absolute pain 😭😭😭 HE DID IT HIS WAY DAMMIT!!!

This literally hit me hard not just because DBZA is canceled, but because this song truly did go with Cell. Also, the cover was actually amazing and showcased how much talent, dedication, and passion that Cell’s abridged voice actor had for this. Despite being a parody, this is also far better than most of the shitty modern music on the radio that people listen to nowadays. I was hoping they’d bring him back in the DBS: Super Hero movie but all we got was a Semi Perfect Cell with too much testosterone and Reee, but anyway I was blown away and honestly teared up listening to this. Fucking phenomenal.

You know, despite how stupidly funny this abridge series is, I actually kinda admire this scene. I think the idea of a villain, who has done so many horrible things, dying before any of his goals are accomplished, who right at the end, can only feel satisfaction. He did everything his own way, even if it led him to death and failure, he can still feel satisfied, because he lived life his own way, and I kinda love that concept.

Its so Bittersweet seeing Cell go. He's been the villain of TFS for over 4 years. I remember how excited people were to see how TFS were going to do Cell. Even in his very first debut he was singing Mr. Sandman, Then P is for Perfect, and finally "My Way" The perfect end to a perfect villain.

Cell has always been an interesting character. Hes called perfect because of all the extraordinary traits from the greatest fighters, but he was doomed to their flaws too.

Just heard the sad news that the great legend of Akira Toriyama recently passed away. Rest in Peace and thank you so much for bringing us such a treasured anime, you will be deeply missed.

Having Cell go out on My Way is something that could never happen in the actual anime. It just wouldn't happen, but it's perfect. Cell was perfect.

I like that tfs made Cell seem like his own being. In the original he was still charismatic but still had that "mindless killing machine" aura around him. Tfs gave him human traits, he gets irritated at trivial things, he connects with other characters, he has likes and dislikes, but the best thing they gave him was a passion for music

I'd like to point out that " My Way " is an extremely hard song to do, and I think Taka needs to be appreciated for making a song his own. This is one of the best renditions I've ever seen, and that's something to be proud of.

Now that Schlatt made a version, I had to come back here to listen to this again.

It’s been a few years since it ended. To think we started with just another funny fandub about gummy bears, ghost nappa, and muffin buttons and ended with genuinely tear jerking moments that rival the original releases. You guys will always have my respect and gratitude for this.
