Dude, really cool journey video. I dont know you from anything or anyone other than just what I see of you in your videos (and I havent even watched them all), but I am proud of your dedication to what you love and your progress you've made. I'll be completely honest, this video made me really upset and disappointed with myself. I spent the better part of the past 10 years wishing and praying and even at times crying and begging God for a cello. I thought it'd be the coolest thing to play one and play it well. Then in 2021 I finally got one. She's just a beginner cello, but we all start somewhere, and she gets the job done well enough for now. I was immediately thrown back by how unexpectedly difficult it was to learn the cello, but I pushed through it and taught myself. Even the first few songs I learned were just some simple Christian worship songs to give thanks to God for answering a prayer. But then life happens, I allow things to get to me, and then I realize I'm 37, like how did that happen, I swear I was 30 just yesterday lol. In the past year I've let life, laziness, occasional depression, and just a whole pile of stupid stuff to really take my passion away that I had when I first got the cello 3 1/2 years ago. Ive practiced so little this past year... man, I'm so disappointed in myself. Who knows, I could already have been on my way to being as good as you are if I hadn't become so passive on my practicing. You do insire me to not completely give up... seeing your videos really kick my ass in gear somtimes and I'll get this spark of encouragement. Im sure you'll meet and speak to hundreds if not thousands of people in comments online and in real life that enjoy your music and how it helps them in whatever situation they're in, which is amazing, and I know I'm just another one of those many people, but I still do appreciate your talent and how it has helped keep that spark going in me for this past year. Guess that's what jealously and a man chrush will do to a guy ha. Nah, but in all seriousness man, thanks for sharing your passion, enjoy life and your talent, and please dont ever let the light on your passion go dim... I've unacceptably let me almost go out, but thankfully youtube is there to auto suggest plently of your vids to kick me in the butt and remind me get back at something I asked to have for so long. Keep rocking dude, and who knows, one day I may have my own youtube channel and rocking away too. If I ever have the confidence (and more refined skills) to make my first youtube video, I'll without a doubt dedicate it to you man. Take care.
