This reminds me of a dude who used to come into the bar I worked at. He had like two kids, two step kids, and like 4 adopted kids. Made good money, great dad. Wife runs off to fool around. He says he wants custody of all the kids and for her to never bother them again. She says okay, but I want that classic car you rebuilt. He didn't even hesitate. Said it was the best trade he's ever made. She traded her kids for a car.

"Great dad", yeah sure. Look at the mother he gave his kids. I'm tired of men getting away with marrying trash women. Imagination if your sister leased a room in her house out to a single guy with twins. The guy worked at McDonald's part time and said he was trying to get back on his feet. He'd been sober for 6 months, so your sister thinks he's good to go. He's also tall and attractive. She marries him. Bro, she'd have to eat that decision. Nobody would feel sorry for her.

It doesn't have anything to do with you mate. It's all on her poor decision making. My ex wife did a similar thing. I worked too much. She was lonely. He was there for her. So on and so forth. He had no job. Came to me after I moved out asking for money to pay the light bill. I slowly shut the door in her face.

They're so selfish and such cowards that until the end they want their situation and issues be someone else's problem.They try to beat into submission those with good hearts by making it seem like "any attempt at my life was because of you" rather than "any attempt at my life is because I feel miserable and can't must strength to deal with it". Is he though? I see this "prime example of a provider man" a lot in these stories and honestly, I would probably leave him too if I was the women. (Not defending her actions, just in general). I meanseriously, having a provider husband might be practical, but there's absolutely no spark there, no romance, no love. It's just a dead marriage. Obviously, the woman is the one in the wrong here. It's just, if everything you bring to a relationship is money, don't be surprised if you get yourself a gold digger.
@Uifon
@Uifon 9 ай бұрын
@@XMaster340 Well, there's one thing you might've forgotten about in this story; He only worked so many hours because his lazy ass wife didn't want to work to support their three kids. You don't have the right to complain about the relationship if you choose to be a stay-at-home wife with three kids that need a lot of money to support. Get a job, and you'll be able to see your husband/wife more often at home. More people working means less of a need to stay overtime at work to support your family's financial health. Edit, but, in my honest opinion, the fault for this situation is probably more on OP's side for marrying a person who's homeless that wants to be a 'stay-at-home wife'. That shit reeks of entitlement.

@@UifonExactly my point. I would never marry a woman who won't pull her own weight. That comment she said to OP, "You work too much and don't have time for me", well I'm very F*CKING SORRY about me working so the house is kept clean, the kids safe and well fed and for you not to worry about finances. People today should be grateful that their partners are working hard, so the house is well maintained. But I guess people think differently. Also, why didn't she talk about her wants and needs? Because women still think that we men can f*cking read minds like Professor X. Something that bothers me, is that when women say shit like, "You don't spend time with me", "You're always gone for days", or my favorite "You are not as affectionate as before", well if you don't want him to work as much then how about you get a part time job or a full time job and help him release some of his tension thag he has about finances. Oh but she said she wants to be a SAHW/M (Stay at home wife/mom), well you can start a online business, or like OP said she can teach people how to cook, because let me tell you a lot of people need that experience these days. Thankfully, my parents both taught me more than enough about cooking and life lessons even though they are separate. And we should learn from their mistakes and put it towards something meaningful.

How do people not learn how to cook? It is the first thing I learned when I moved out, otherwise I'd die of starvation. *The equation is real easy, but look up recipes for further instructions. Just remember, to keep the pointy and sharp end of a knife away from yourself and others. * Get a pot, put food in pot, put water in pot, put pot on stove, turn on the stove, stir and wait, if it becomes black you waited too long, try it again. * When you succeed you graduate to a pan, get a pan, put oil in pan, put food in pan, stirr and wait, if it becomes black you waited too long, try again. * When you succeed you graduate to the oven, get an oven form, get oven paper, put oven paper on the oven form, put food on the paper in the oven form, put the form into the middle of the oven at about 175-225 Celsius, higher heat does not mean faster. wait about 30 minutes, stirr and wait, if it becomes black try again.

I’m pretty sure I commented this on the original posts. But the whole situation screams bipolar. OPs ex sounds very similar to my friend’s ex. His ex was bipolar but had always taken medicine for it. At some point she stopped and soon after she left him for a literal homeless man she met on her way home from work. She immediately started posting pictures on Instagram and Facebook of them kissing and talking about how in love they were. It was bizarre. She was gone for a few months and eventually showed back up begging for my friend to take her back. He never did. I’m not sure where she is now but I honestly hope she’s doing okay. She was an incredibly sweet person when she was medicated but off her meds she was a completely different person.

As soon as she was presented with someone she felt have her another one of her needs, she bounced. The wife's kids were used to blackmail him into money so she could have both at once. That's why she didn't grab his biokid, the law would fuck her up quick for kidnapping, and he'd probably get awarded emergency custody. i came to the very same conclusion. however imho the drugs are secondary, the primary problem is unwillingness to take responsibility for your own actions or lack thereof, facing your own problems and emotions, victimizing yourself, blaming others, deflecting, lying, cheating, deceiving, manipulating etc. and those patterns of behaviour are present before substance consumption I don't think drugs fundamentally changes you, but then all i base my judgment is my own (past ?) alcohol consumption and some friends weed consumption. Hopefully gone for good (almost no alcohol consumption in 2 months). And others can 100% NOT make the changes for you.

@@josephmbimbi in one way or other, you are right. There are just many situations one can possibly experience.Sometimes, It comes from within, eg not taking accountability, having parental problems, narcissism etc. But in other cases, many good people with high morales are ruined due to drugs, usually dragged down by others (beliefs/opinions). You can find more on this subject if you were to judge about america's drug situations, life stories of those recovering/stil addicts, those trying to get better but unfortunately, relapses.You can see it in their eyes/body language that they wanna get out but the influence is just too much. And one last thing, Im proud of you for being 2 month clean, my 14yrs of life has been ridden with alc so it would be great if you were to find help within yourself and get better, remember its for yourself.. not others. You can do it:) good job.

It’s not fair, it’s crippling, and what’s worse is when there’s kids in the picture. You try to pick up the pieces and be the better person but a lot is missing at that point. Don’t become an empty shell. Don’t stay for the kids, because you’re submitting yourself to torture. Just end the relationship and figure out the kid situation after.
