I really love stories where the bad person get what they deserve

On the first story, no you're not the jerk, you took down a scammer that stole. To me you're a hero in this story.

It's like the brain is always ready to take charge after the heart is shattered. The strategic planning that a lot of the people in these stories make are insane and sad but heart thrilling cz like they get this feeling of satisfaction

The story with the rent was amazing. The father was amazing and even in divorce cared for his wife. Tbh he probably only divorced her so the debts would not take over the daughters and his life so amazing mother aswell

About the sister in the 2nd story I totally feel for her. As someone who had had the same experience growing up the feeling of someone doing bad things to you while you're supposed to be the "smart" one in the family even as a child and expected to know better felt like being paralyzed while watching your body being torn apart. It makes me uncomfortable just typing this out. The sister probably never told because she was a good kid who saw her parents suffering and didn't want to be another burden to them so she put up with it. When I was a kid I felt ashamed, and when I was a teenager all throughout the early stages of adulthood I tried to play it out as no big deal while indeed struggled with self esteem issues so I totally understand why the sister turned to drugs. It had been so tempting to just numb out the pain. There were times I found my thoughts wandering towards the big bottle of cleaning products we kept in the bathroom. So I am VERY sorry for your and your dad's loss, OP and I am VERY sorry for your sister. She deserved so much better and she was lucky she had you, your dad and your mom in her life.

The cousin in the last story would be killed by me as soon as I hear what he had done to my sister. He would be suffering, a lot, but ultimately he would be dead.

The first guy in the video is obviously not the jerk. That woman had done this to multiple people and now to him. She was horrible and deserved to get her life ruined.

Both stories NTA/J. Neither of them got enough revenge either. Story one: Woman steals and destroys innocent man's life. Story 2: Selfish aunt caused the suffering of her already sick sister and indirectly caused the death of her niece by putting her sisters family into financial trouble which meant they couldn't win a lawsuit, ending in H addiction and death.
