how fun! Rice is still rice. We need to get rid of rice period (i'm struggling, too...i'm asian american...and i think it takes 10 years before it even shows up on the blood test). check the a1c which is more accurate. it may be easier to cut the snacks if one drinks sugarly drinks (ie starbucks hand crafted drinks). Teriyaki sauce and dressings can have lots of sugar hidden in it, ketchup, etc. Eating at home more would be ideal. I fell off the wagon since my mom became disabled and i began eating lots of frozen food.
